Tbh, i can somewhat let things pass when it comes to the 7th prince (he knew he wasn’t suited for the throne but that old marshal pressured him & he had that snake guard making him ignorant) but hu jinsi, with all of the time he lived, he shouldn’t have sent that snake guard to the lord mansion nor shouldve he doubted shuiqiu (this scene kept popping in my mind at the end of 7th prince arc) when shuiqiu trusted hu jinsi and asked the 6th prince to go and talk with hu jinsi to confirm that he is not rebelling (couldn’t hu jinsi even question what that guard have said to him??????) uhhhh im so annoyed

The way i sensed shuiqiu death episodes away, and i kept gaslighting myself into think that he’s gonna be saved somehow, and i just can’t imagine the amount of courage that the ninth prince needed to pardon him of execution.
