I don’t think people read the synopsis, some like me 🫣 go into dramas blindly (its like a surprise), but i do agree with you on everything, sometimes the drama is the worst, there is no plot, acting is bad, yet it would have a high rating, so i would read the comments to get the general idea of if its really hyped or is actually good/bad.

1) I wouldn’t call it a love triangle, but there is 2 (love square?) which means that both leads have second admirers ( the female admirer is toxic, and the male one is obsessed). 2) they get married in ep 15, but fl starts liking him after a few eps or so. 3) yes, many breakups actually, and it depends sometimes an ep sometimes 3 or more. 4) its an open ending, but somewhat happy, some hope there would be a second season, but idk if there would be.
Finished this drama in 2 nights, and now its hard for me to process and get over this drama. I am so sad because of the ending and i don’t think there will be a second season.

About their cgi and final work, it is understandable why it wasn’t perfect, although they had foreigners to work on it, they were supposed to release this in 2019 if im not wrong, but unfortunately their sponsoring company was bankrupt due to covid 19, and not all of the work was done at that time, so they really scrapped what was left to finish the work and were able to release it this year, hopefully they will get enough money to keep up the quality. And i just want to mention they the hard work that went to this movie is very inspiring, they had a camp for the actors to teach them horse riding, archery, literature and history of the shang dynasty, they practiced etiquette, speaking, and acting for there roles. So i really think after knowing all of the hard work they did and how the were so young at that time, it make me like the movie more
