Since I can relate to the daughter in real life, I'm really enjoying this. Otherwise, I would have been annoyed by her, especially since I started the drama for JJH. I can see why it has a low rating—it’s not the typical story that appeals to most K-drama fans but I'm more focused on the father-daughter relationship than the romance.
I just finished the first season and the movie. I'm hesitant to watch this one because I don't want to ruin the drama for myself. The first season became my top Thai drama, and the movie was cute, so I'm not sure if I should watch this next. Is it worth a try?
I was absolutely mesmerized by the stunning costumes and the cinematic shots that resembled beautiful paintings. Watching this drama was a visual delight.
I just finished the drama, and I'm glad I didn't pay attention to the negative comments and gave it a try. It's a solid 9/10. Yes, it had its flaws, but considering the number of episodes, that's expected. It started strong, dipped in the second arc, and then picked up again, which is rare.
People's complaints about the FL being in her 40s and playing a 15-year-old character are understandable since Zhang Ziyi looks her age. However, she was so great as the princess that I can't imagine anyone else in that role. The character needed to appear mature, graceful, and royal for most of the show, and she did that perfectly. From the way she walks to the way she talks, I believed she was a real princess.
Additionally, I would have complained if they had cast her opposite a young ML who looked like her son, but they actually brought in a fully grown-up cast with a strong and manly ML. The couple created such wonderful chemistry too.
I’m only 15. minutes in. Someone please tell me the main lead starts talking normally. The godfather voice is…
I was wondering too at first if he is imitating the godfather, but it turned out to be his real voice that got damaged in some accident I think. It add more charisma to him.
Well, we should all take the serial killer as our model. Every time she kills someone, there is a witness to her crime, but she never gives up for 20 years. She kills the witness and creates a new one each time, yet she is still doing fine. A true example of a hardworking woman.
They ruined both the second and third couples for me. The second couple, who had the best chemistry, was especially disappointing. They had to make Li Li end up with someone else just because he loved her for 40 episodes. Even though I liked him, I couldn't see them as a couple and was hoping they'd give him another love interest. The third couple took forever to get together without any good reason, which made me lose interest in them.
_Seung Hyo, shut up"😂😂
