The last couple are introduced the day before the basket of eggs, but you're probably correct that eps 31/32 have…
Google Lens says "End of Life Love". That doesn't sound at all good... Maybe I'm wrong about it being the intro ep for the last couple though. They seem pretty young. Unless they only get together when they're old, or they die young.
Theoryyy post .. just for fun.. I am sure everyone following the show must have seen a small scene in the trailers,…
I am leaning towards option 1, weirdly enough. I think they might get together, have some sort of life together, then some villain causes problems, there's a battle, and he dies while she reverts to a child. It would explain how they (maybe) have a daughter. But it would be so weird for mother and daughter to be similar ages, so I don't know...
Part of me feels that, since the main content of the manhua can't really be made into a Cdrama (because it's got a sort of child-bride-ish thing in it), that the producers might have got permission to change the ending of the DFYC/THH arc. But that would deviate *so* much from the original, since it essentially means the main manhua wouldn't exist...
I am team #2. Someone mentioned that in the original work, DFYC and THH were engaged in a fierce battle against…
The whole battle is part of a Plan in the original manhua. It was explained in a few frames and wasn't very compelling tbh. (I haven't watched the anime, so I don;t know if it was better there)

In the manhua, he's dying and she makes a vow under the tree. She also sort of tells him off similar to that scene in the trailer (though maybe different dialogue)
They might change the situation but keep the ending.
And just for the record: I absolutely *hate* the idea of her reverting to a child. Even more than I hate the idea of him dying.

In the manhua, the final war actually happens when he is an old man (and he looks pretty old and decrepit in the scene). Drama land was never going to do that to Gong Jun :D
Elder did say early on that THH would revive DFL when the time was right
I assumed that the 3 year skip happened *after* he was revived, because they make references to the time gap being 1000 years in earlier episodes, and when DFL wakes up, he also says 1000 years have passed. Unless they're using approximations.
If it was 1000 years, then maybe he woke up on the anniversary of his death or something.
I'm wondering about the logistics of this selective memory loss.THH doesn't lose all her memories, just those…
It isn't really stupid. She's got a huge responsbility, and there is no apparent alternative. No good chief will sacrifice the safety of their land and "people" (and "people" would include DFYC) just for their own love affair.
I'm wondering about the logistics of this selective memory loss.
THH doesn't lose all her memories, just those with DFYC. I get how that might work with some memories. For example, she could remember the fireworks in Ep4 as having seen them by herself.
But what about where she physically interacted with DFYC? Will she forget the entire event then? Or remember that *someone* did something for her, but she can't remember the face? Say, where he grabbed her hand at the Spirit Market. There were others present, so she shouldn't forget the whole memory. Being grabbed by the hand is physical, but she won't remember who did it...
(Maybe this was not the best example, but in general, how will she remember events where she physically interacted with DFYC in the presence of others?)
I love how Fu Cheng's character has gotten more to do as the show progresses. In the beginning I thought she may…
"the fact that she is aware of DFYCs deep love for THH is a positive aspect"
I'm wondering whether, because she cares for DFYC, knows how he loves THH, and *doesn't* know why THH has ignored him for the past three years, she might turn against THH or at least aid someone who is against THH. One of those misplaced loyalty scenarios.

I originally thought the bleeding was because he was devastated (already) on hearing that THH was spending lots of time with DFL (and he might have assumed he has no chance now), but I suppose that isn't logical because why would Fu Cheng have any connection to DFYC's emotions? Unless GG did something to her?
I have to say in Episode 21-22, the team evil shone for the first time, like a team evil should. Guo Guo stole…
This plan (of creating chaos between humans and spirits) was one concocted by Shi Ji very early on, but Renfeng wasn't able to execute it. Guoguo is definitely more adept

But I myself think it's extremely unlikely

But DFYC managed to thwart them
