how sure are we that the little girl is THH and DFYC's daughter? I read in the original donghua, THH ties herself…
Actually, even American dramas have that knack. I feel like I've been more disappointed than not with the endings of most dramas that I've watched. With American ones, it's either because they drew it out too long or ended abruptly (and occasionally, when neither is the case, they ended on a sad note)
E21-22 previewws... ðŸ¤ðŸ¤ðŸ¤It seems she has forgotten..DFL is back for real, not dream or nightmare. DFYC…
The "chief is pestering DFL" though... because the kids said it, I just laughed. There must be a reason (though it's also possible that THH might be blind to reason where DFL is concerned)
On a very random note, I wish there was a better translation than "spirit merchant" for the store owners in the Spirit Market. Every time I read "spirit merchant", I think they're selling alcohol :D
Also a little disclaimer- if you choose to give the show a chance, you might want to at least watch it till episode10-12…
I suppose, to be fair, a heads up on editing as well. They switch between scenes a lot, rather than letting a scene play out. I think some people have found that problematic, but at least personally, it hasn't put me off the drama so far
I am liking it so far.. enough for me to wait for the next episodes eagerly. However, please dont go by my words.…
I'd say go for it :)
I think it helps if you know that it's a cold-FL-and-cheerful-ML deal at the beginning. She starts out as a very serious, emotionless character and softens in later eps. This is how the original character was written. He expresses his feelings quite openly, she expresses hers through small looks and actions.
I hadn't watched any of Gong Jun's works before this, but he's good as a playful character.
It's been enjoyable so far, and later episodes have been pretty eventful (though earlier ones have dropped hints on what's to come, which we're only realizing on rewatches)
The part about Aolai Sanshao and the inner and outer circles was mentioned so casually in Ep3, but is very significant now. I feel like every conversation needs to be analyzed if we're to get all the references.
I like that she made it happen (the flowers) even if she didn't accept
Is he leading Yiqi or just a member of though? He still looks quite youthful...

Whichever one it is, poor guy :D
(I feel like I'd be the same, so I can sympathize)
