She wasn't always cold though (I loved the occasional moments of softness and the rare smiles before the memory loss, though I'm definitely liking the happier version as well!)
We don't know what the ending will be like for this yet. We'll know next Sunday :)
I like it, but of course everyone has their own views about it :)
It's definitely not too sad, for the time being anyways, despite many things that have happened. But again, everybody's tolerance for sad things is different. I don't like sad endings (or depressing, tense shows), and I'm enjoying this.
If you are planning on watching, maybe some things you should know: * it's based on a manhua/donghua, so many characteristics are based on that * it's a cold FL, cheerful ML - which many people don't seem to like. She has a reason for being cold, but most people prefer cold and cheerful to be the other way around it seems :D * slow burn romance * in this manhua universe, reincarnation and soul restoration are all possible, so dead doesn't mean dead
Shi ji: "hes actually become ao powerful. I still need to deal with honghong. Ive to stop this fight"*flighs away*Also…
That scene really was too much :D
And if she can't deal with DFYC, how is she expecting to deal with THH? (I know she meant she didn't want to waste her powers fighting him, but still... )
Her crush started a while ago (probably after the second time he saved her)
No, the crush was there for sure, but the exact moment it began I'm not sure of :D
There were scenes where she was very happy with DFYC's attentions and then disappointed when they turned out not to be what she thought. And she was upset that he was obsessing over THH when she was apparently ignoring him. She was also upset when he said something about marriage.
people: "i love you"yuechu: "i'll sacrifice half of my heart for you"
It's like another commenter here posted.... What with THH sacrificing her spirit bone and love seed, and DFYC sacrificing half his heart, they're all like Mr. Potato Heads :D
wait, wait... so constable lyu didn't lose her memory, she had a fake wedding with paper doll yan rushan and the…
THH created that illusion of Rushan using his aura for the wedding
I think the idea is that she has now gotten "married" to him and is happy that she still has her memories of him. He is happy that she is happy (even though he thinks she married someone else).
They're showing that people in love can be in love despite different types of obstacles (I think)
Aolai seems to say that DFYC can only cultivate it through separation from *his* Love Seed? So is DFYC now going…
Well, there really weren't many "everyone else"s in the manhua... But TYY and TRR will exist in adult forms. Lai was never a part of this flashback in the manhua, so he should live as he is. And yes, child SuSu.
Btw, does she actually regain the old memories (her original memories)? Because they don't seem to have shown…
I need to rewatch the bridge scene. I know she asked him to remind her of their time together just before kissing him, but he didn't say anything then. I didn't realize she had asked again on the bridge.

The other thing also resolves :)
