He was almost too suspicious for me. I thought maybe they'd go down the route of having DFYC also suspect him wrongly, do something foolish (though not kill!), then realize why THH was the way she was at the beginning

Going back to Ep25, it was nice to see that even when she didn't fully trust DFYC, THH still blasted him out of harm's way so she was the only one who was drawn into danger.

If I'm being totally honest, I wasn't drawn in by that arc at all

I know what you mean regarding being hard to connect with him. But for me, it's kind of because he came off as a sleazeball at first. He did fool multiple women on false pretenses after all (and yes, they may have been shallow, but it's not like he wasn't)

But when did she actually fall in love the second time? Which moments built up to the realization that she has fallen in love with him again? (These are questions to myself, btw :) )

I think I need to rewatch from that cave scene until now, because I will admit the amnesia plot made me skip scenes a bit. It's possible I missed a whole lot.

(I like slow burn the best, and I like seeing the little looks and moments that make up the romance. But ofc I have to watch out for those, and skipping scenes is not the way to go)

They said the Tear of the Void would give it form. The cast list says the actress playing Shi Ji will also play Black Fox. But maybe with different characteristics?

I don't know. The preview seemed that way to me. Maybe I misunderstood it though
