I couldn't watch yesterday's episodes yesterday.. thought I'd do so today.. i began and had to leave again.. no…
As far as I know, it was only to trap her. This escape seems crazy.
I'm wondering though, because the sacrifice created those binds for Shi Ji, now that she's free, can the binds go back to being the love seed and be reinstated?
I understand your point because i thought something similar when they keep lying to him it creates new cracks…
It bothers me as well. If they truly thought it would harm THH, they could just tell him that. He would never endanger her.
The alliance is something they've discussed for a while, since ep10 maybe, so it makes sense to me. Sending him as the representative also does because he is the most vocal proponent of it within Yiqi.
I don't get it. Why did a lai still lie to YC when YC directly asked him if HH forgotten him? Why dont just tell…
I have the same question. They said it could harm THH, but how do they know? Has anyone done this before? Is there a book that says this? It makes no sense.

I meant the cracks in the wall were Shi Ji attacking Tushan. It was to solve that problem that THH did what she did.
I think none of them could have predicted what happened in the last eps (with the bandits). For 3 years, things were good, and they switched focus to the cooperation between spirits and humans (which was the original long term goal anyways). Then Ep25 happened
I was thinking about THH's rationale for the love seed sacrifice (because it's highly criticized), and I have an analogy (that may or may not be valid).
Let's say the wall of your house is crumbling and it's going to collapse soon. You and your (large) family don't have another place to go to.
Obviously, you need to know the reason for the instability, and you need to plan on how to rebuild it in such a way that it can't happen again. But that will take time. The wall is crumbling *now* and soon it'll collapse and bring down the roof with it. All the greatest planning won't be of any use if everyone is dead under a pile of rubble (that last bit was for dramatic effect :D).
Even worse if your house is connected to others and its collapse leads to instability in those other houses as well.
You need a stopgap... some sort of short-term fix. And if you have a short-term fix that is considered very effective but expensive, you'll obviously go for that (because you don't know if a long-term solution is even possible or how long it'll take to implement, and you don't want to risk just slapping on some plaster and hoping for the best).
That's kind of the situation THH was in. Things were happening. Yes, all the good guys could brainstorm for ways and means, but while they do that, Shi Ji is gaining power. And if Shi Ji comes into power, not just Tushan but all the six realms would be in trouble. Something had to be done and the most effective solution that presented itself at that moment in time was the love seed sacrifice.
It was not the best move (though I still maintain that it's less THH and more the others who are at fault for how DFYC was feeling in the past couple eps), but it was understandable.
She should have told him, ofc, though I don't know how he would have taken it.
What I dislike is how, after such a great sacrifice on her part, 3 years later, it becomes pointless. I'm wondering though, whether this means she could get her sacrifice back somehow. What's the returns policy on love seed sacrifices?
Probably a very unpopular opinion right now, but I can understand THH's actions and decisions.
She killed someone wrongly because she suspected them unfairly, and she carried that guilt for 1000 years. He's back now, *but* he still didn't get to have a childhood or a normal life, and it was because of her. Whereas she got to have her childhood because of him. She will most definitely feel like she owes him so much. And she will be terrified of doubting him again, killing him again, and going through centuries of regret again.
Since she doesn't remember DFYC now, to her he's this strange man who acts way too familiar with her. He's never actually indicated that they know each other, or mentioned any of their past interactions, so she doesn't have any idea *why* he's so chummy (and physical!) with her. When an almost-stranger says bad things about a person she's afraid of doubting, it isn't really going to work. If *Lai* had raised concerns, I think she would have listened.
But she's willing to be convinced now, which shows she isn't irrational.
I know many people won't see her actions this way, but guilt is a truly horrible feeling to have. And if you manage to get rid of it, you won't want to experience it again. And if it was because you made the same mistake again with the same person, the guilt would be magnified many times over.
Finally on to watching E25-26. First time I am watching episodes after a day of release. Still have 3 more days…
I somehow totally forgot there were no new eps today. I don't think I'll be able to watch Saturday's eps on Saturday either, which is so annoying. Still, 4-ep binge on Sunday :D
I'm kind of hoping they re-release this one with proper editing later. Not episode-by-episode, ofc, but all at once. I wouldn't mind rewatching it in a few months without the glaring flaws. (I mean, I've rewatched it already even *with* the flaws, but it's so crazy that these flaws should be present)
THH sacrificed her love seed and DFYC, basically to hold SJ down for 3 years???? All it took was one bandit to…
This was my doubt as well! The whole thing is crazy.
In the first place, I don't see how that bandit is so powerful when THH is supposed to be the most powerful spirit.
I suppose, at the time she made the sacrifice, he was in a supposedly impenetrable prison. So nobody would have thought he was a threat, so her decision could be forgiven
HongHong also lost her braincells along with her love seed. Thank you writer. 🤪 I can finally say DFYueChu…
From her POV though, DFYC is a stranger who is overly familiar with her, DFL is someone she at least knew some centuries ago (though, admittedly she has a blind spot when it comes to him).
In her own words, she did something regrettable because of not trusting DFL before and she doesn't want to risk that again. But we see at the end of yesterday's ep that she is willing to listen to the evidence against him.
DFYC began suspecting DFL at least partly because he was jealous of him and biased against him (If he didn't think THH was interested in DFL, he probably wouldn't have cared that he was revived). He also doesn't have 1000 years worth of guilt to deal with, so he can be more rational.

We don't know who fell first with the princess arc
