I don't actually understand time limits for online-only shows. With TV, there's a schedule and advertisements eat into the time as well. But online shows don't have those constraints

It wasn't a long scene or anything. Ep13. Rongrong is at the market with the yogurt seller (35:15), when two people walk by gossipping about THH and DFYC. At around 35:55, she reports this to THH.

I've definitely noticed it in general. I thought I noticed the specific example you meant, but you haven't watched today's eps yet :D

Maybe Bu Tai and Shi Kuan set the precedent for human-spirit matches, but I don't know about the current couple (apart from him being able to walk through miasma unharmed)

At least he was willing to believe DFYC about DFL. I thought he might put it down to DFYC's jealousy and ignore it.

I could understand if every scene was cut short. But why cut essential character-based scenes short and keep unnecessary lines?
