I think it's what she said at the start of one of the eps: she did something regrettable through not trusting him, and that stayed with her for 1000 years. She doesn't want to risk that again. But at the end of the ep, she's considering the evidence against him.

In a way, I feel sorry for him. He was a kid when it happened. Over ceturies, she was the only one he saw. He fell for her, but she's taken.

Even 10 years of solitude would do something to a person's mind. 1000 years!

I mean when he was a kid. When he's trying to produce his Divine Flame, she says not to train where other fox spirits can see (because they would realize who he was and kill him). She then takes him to the Grief Tree and trains him. Or is there when he is training anyways

Today's eps seemed to suggest that Shi Ji is behind DFL's revival.
But how did she do that when she was bound by the sacrifice?

He manipulated THH, caused her to lose some of her powers, and then thinks "after Shi Ji defeats the six realms, we can be together in the darkness forever"... followed by "but will you hate me?"

I had the same concern, but sshe didn't raise him (despite the lines saying she did). He sort of raises himself. She did train him to use his powers though.
It's spirit-human, so there will be centuries of gap in any case. When he ages by 10-20 years, she won't have (physically).

Even him using her name instead of "Lady Fairy" is a step up.

It was more in yesterday's eps, with the chicken and the snark (with DFL).

But yes, he's definitely getting to be on par with her now (maybe not raw powers-wise, but in standing).
