I'm guessing Jiashang's mother was still pregnant when she got married to Rong, which means he's not really a Rong. Shizhen's long lost brother is probably Meng an's right hand man. the drama went to waste. There's two ep left and he's still not cured and his nearest traitor "friends" still not exposed. not to mention STILL NO PUNISHMENT FOR ELISE AND JUNBIN OR WTH HIS NAME IS. JUST DISAPPOINTMENT.
In ep 12 Elise puts something in Qian fan's food and gives it to him. I think she's been poisoning him which made him lose his sense of taste. That obsessive psycho probably wants him to get isolated and lose the thing he cherishes most to get back together with him. She's obviously made his assistant Li yan her accomplice. ke song also tastes the food Elise brought to Qian fan, so if ke song also ends up with side effects, maybe qian fan will start suspecting that psycho Elise.
I feel like Elise has something to do with Qian fan's losing senses. It's also very suspicious how she's close to his doctor, and how she tries to manipulate him and make him act the way she wants. Nina said that she became too possessive when they were together and didnt react at the break up. Maybe she's trying to make Jiang fan return to her by distancing him with his big passion of cooking by scheming his taste loss. It was so sad to see him tear up in ep 9&10, when he wakes up from a nightmare & desperately tastes salt & seasonings to check whether he lost more senses😭 I hope this taste losing plot ends soon, as I really want to see him enjoying the food making process with Ke song😭 I wish they had followed the novel and didnt change his disability. It would've reminded of Crush with the blind-plot and gathered more viewers with the deep love script. I still love this drama tho the novel is way better and the drama would've been better too if they stayed true to the book.
I also like the drama version Victor character better. He gives a diff dynamic to the competition. It would've been boring of the only competitor was the petty cousin💀

Hana was my favorite💯 I heard they'll do romance in season 2🔥 I hope they'll do it between Do gi & Hana🥰 They had great chemistry and it gave kinda that vibe towards the end considering how they changed Hana's attitude and softened her a bit. I don't see any romance happening between the hacker girl and Do gi... they have no chemistry maybe bc of the age diff? the hacker girl seems too young for him. I think her crush will stay as one-sided. If they do romance between hacker girl and do gi then season 2 will just be a no watch definitely😑
Personally I liked Hana & Dogi together💯Their chemistry were great👌🏻 If they're going to do subtle romance then they should do it between them. I feel like the other hacker girl give more brother-sister vibe rather than romanctic partners.
