Bai Feng Hei Xi gave the impression of knowing each other's real identity in the novel, but Idon't think they have any clue in show🔥 In ep 12 Bai FX was connecting Prince lanxin w Fountain abude(?) together, and Hei FX wouldn't compliment Princess Xiyun infront of Bai if he knew given their relationship😂
I can't wait ti watch them learn about eo & how fun it'll be realising they're both royal & didn't have to worry about ending up together bc of status or politics🙌🏻
I can't wait till we get introduced to Xiyun's Qingzhou generals.. i cried my eyes out when one of the generals died protecting her in the novel and how it left a big scar on Xiyun's heart😭 I'm sure Lusi will kill it w her acting the sorrow and grief of the losses of war.
I really don't want to see the irritating jerk of a character Ren from the novels... ahh i couldn't stand him reading god knows i can't stand watching either🤧
I love YangYang but Chinese military life just doesn't peek my interest... what a waste of good chemistry w YY & LYT. If I wanted serious military stuff I'd go for a documentary🤧 Romance even if subtle is a must for me to invest my time in a drama. I'll simply go watch Yang Yang in Who rules the world💃🏻
Zhanji really annoys me... he acts on his impulse and expects to be pampered by Zijin. She lost her voice and he doesn't realize it being too busy w his own feelings.... he doesn't deserve her love.
According to other synopsis I’ve read and Marcus (Marcus here!) on YT, Zanzi Yao leaves the palace and her surname…
This is the reunion of the actors and considering they already got separated in their previous drama, I'm thinking they'll give happy ending by not making it historically correct. Kinda giving tribute to the fans of the couple previously in yanxi. As you guys per said, they do get married in the trailer and get intimate. Zijin also appears to be quite mysterious so maybe her real surname is not yao, but maybe it'll get revealed to be Sun later? There's 40 episodes so lots of things can happen. The theme of the drama is also mainly to promote the chinese cuisine & seem to be somewhat more peaceful rama. with little tint of political scheme, so I think they'll make it happy ending as possible like maybe they'll stay accurate w/ zhanji's death and show zijin live afterwards w their kids or something. Bittersweet ending at least. All I have is my hopeT_T
I did a bit research of Zhanji as emperor in real & found out he died early at 35... but still reigned peacefully for 10 years. We have the Empress Hu of the story. The question is, is Zijin the Empress Sun of the story? I'm traumatized from the drama Ming dynasty... so i hope they don't ruin Zhanji & Zijin's relationship later in the drama😭
This drama proved body switch plot can be great when executed well. I am in love. I loved how they indicated that Ayako and Hidaka is fated & how they switched souls again in the ending. I LOVED it. Might be my favorite Jdrama.
