yeah they unalived themselves which is why they made it dream like in the last scene by the olive tree. They really romanticized it so much that some people even found hard to understand the ending smh...
I really don't like the ending. It really is glorifying(TRIGGER WARNING) unaliving yourself which I think is a very bad and misguiding message. People can be traumatized and in pain and still recover with support and love. Unaliving yourself as a solution to pain is really misguiding and disrespecting many people who fight everyday an illness or a pain, physical or psychological, just to survive and get through it for themselves , which is the most valueable, and then for their loved ones too. Pain doesn't end when you choose that option, it just gives birth to a never ending pain and trauma for those who are left behind and you as a person. This is what I personally think, so I don't really care if y'all want to glorify this drama as "sad but a masterpiece". I will encourage everyone to fight and go through the pain for the most valuable thing, your own life.
love this sm! I can just feel the same feelings the novel gave me. Tho the cast for Sang Zhi and Duan Jia Xu feels so awkward after wathing hidden love hundred times. In general my fav drama after a long time
Arhh I need part 2 asap!!! This drama has become my fav very quickly I LOOOOOVE yang zi and li xian's chemistry they were amazing love that this time they did a slow burn unlike go go squid it was more passionate. Love both sides to their partnership♥️

My poor mudan once again got betrayed... I believe it's because shengyi is selfish compared to the other girls. she was selfish for marrying a man who attempted several times sabotaging their business.
so mudan has to suffer till ep 22&23 (not sure whethere the saving will happen after or during the eps) but I'm gonna delay wathing ep 21 because it's all just frustrating happenings. And I must say I hate that Jiang had to step in to save Mudan I would have prefered Mudan saving herself, but I guess a girl still needs her hero on a white horse coming to save her..
I'm annoyed at that friend shengyi who just had to idiotly had to fall for her ex abusive husband again like it's astonishing to me how stupid she could be and cause Mudan to become slave and fall into that situation. It's just infuriating...
the ending is the most disappointing ending ever if there's no second season... like at least reunite the couple for fzcks sake... not to mention the female lead was not a part of the main storyline enough there was too many episodes without her which got me confused many times. In general this drama was a disappointment with both the writing and execution.
It was THAT good...
