Agreed! I love every aspects of this drama and I'm a fan of both actors; however, I'm a fan of the novel too. If the author changes the script, that's fine.... but here she maintained those intimate scenes for a reason! That means she wants them to be portray in the drama, not some fake/double crap. I'll finish the drama and it won't be a rewatch for me. I can feel the butterflies, but at the same time there's something missing from their relationship. I can't feel their love and desire for each other wholeheartedly.

I think you missed her point. She's trying to say that she can see Bai lu's tomboy personality while portraying shi yi. You can still take the initiative and be elegant at the same time.
Too many people complain because they do not do 2 & 3 & 4
My point is for those who didn't get the storyline or asking questions that can be answered by doing the those steps. It has nothing to do with people expressing or giving criticism about the drama.
Here's how to enjoy this drama: 1. Read the novel 2. Watch OnO 3. Do not skip scenes 4. Understand the messages being relayed from the past to present. 5. Accept that they changed the characters for the modern part.

I guess they haven't read the novel.... it is exactly like that. Their love is more old fashioned and traditional.... teens nowdays just want to jump right into action lol

Bai lu can make a cold man break his character..... she's too bubbly. I've watched chinese drama since i was a kid. I have actresses that I like, but when bai lu came, she gave me a different feeling. She immediately became my bias.

People are mixing criticism with attacking..... everyone has the right to share their opinions about the plot, characters, and cinematography. Literally if they don't see a comment that is positive, then it's attacking. I do understand that there are comments that are just plain rude, but a lot of them are opinions about the drama and actors.

Okay I read the novel a while back. When is the library scene? I thought it was right after she looked down and got scared because of the flashback. You know they were supposed to kiss right before the maid came in to tell him that his pregnant cousin got hospitalized. I need to read the book again to keep up with the story lol
