The design just wasn't pleasing to my eyes. I've seen her in other cheongsam and she looked gorgeous in them. Her hourglass figure deserves a better dress lol. Other than that, I actually like her outfits in this drama.

I have to agree with them on this one. They could've dressed him better... especially the casual outfits. The cheongsam for bai lu was bad as well. You have two good actors and one of the best novels being adapted. At least make it right ugh! Idk why they picked an inexperienced director. This drama could've been better if the director knows what he's doing.

Did you see the full version of the kiss? They cut it and someone uploaded the full one. People are complaining about paying and not getting the full version. Yeah, no matter what I'll watch the drama because I'm a fan of both actors.

If they keep doing the close up for the rest of the kiss scenes, you'll know it's a double or fake. Usually if it's real, they will show the whole shot. In the novel, this kiss scene was way more intimate. They're making it harder for me to fully engaged myself into their relationship. At some point, they need to take their relationship further. Him being reserved will not help this drama ugh!

He realized he has feelings for her after he came back from the war. They can't be together because he made an oath to not get married or have kids. She was okay with that and want to spend the rest of her life just staying at his place. However, the crown prince ( chen's nephew) wanted to married shi yi. He plotted against the king and sentenced chen to be dismembered. Shi yi was devastated by his death. She decided to jump off the city gate and hope that he will married her if they meet in their next lives.

I usually don't mind if he doesn't do kiss scenes; however, the intimate scenes are the central parts of the novel. Fans of novel will not let it be if he uses a double or fake kiss. I do get tired of people complaining about his no kiss policy like they just heard about it.... but with this drama, I do get where they're coming from. Btw, I think allen can kiss just like xu kai lol. He's just not showing it. Hopefully he will in the upcoming scenes.
