She's not talking about the cheating. She's talking about the drama in general. If you're a grown woman like you've claimed to be, then you should know the difference between hating and giving critics. It's sad that you can't accept negative comments regarding your favorites. It's a free place for people to say whatever they want. Don't like it, ignore it and move on. Don't be on here acting like a child whining and telling people to fck off...... btw in my opinion, this drama deserves less than an 8. I'm disappointed in both leads acting here, because they did so well in LAR.

When they released the posters, I was disappointed with Bai lu look. She's more suitable with simple styles. The only one that i thought was fine was her fairy outfit/hairstyle with two buns. They did so well with the other casts costumes.

My first thought when I found out he's the director. If it was the director for TMPB, I know this drama will be okay.

FL acting is horrible, but it's a watchable drama. Hopefully her acting improves later on. I haven't feel the chemistry between the leads yet. It's like the ML is putting a wall between them.

I can literally spit out blood and cry right now. It's not hard at all lol. Cheng yi's acting was worse than some of the supporting casts in L&D.

This novel contains many things that will be censored. They will probably change the storyline in order to pass censorship. That's why some people are worried. Look at FnE, because they were not allowed to show reincarnation, they made some changes. A lot of viewers were upset..... I just hope it's not the same for this one. Bai lu said she picks drama after careful consideration, so I'll trust her on this one.

I think you've misunderstood everyone's posts. We're not blaming his acting. He's a great actor! As novel fans, we accepted the fact that they changed his character and parts of the plot. Their relationship development is what we're looking for. Around ep 15 and forward, there's a small development in his character; however, it's not enough to certain people. The clause of him not doing kissing or intimate scenes already made it hard because in the novel, those scenes are the central part of their development. On top of that, some viewers feel that he's also putting up a wall between him and FL. If he has his reasons for not doing intimate scenes, I'll respect that; however, he should stay away from romance drama. As his fan, I've watched other dramas of his and it's tiring to see the signature forehead kiss all the times. Not everyone will think this way and that's fine. I'm glad that you guys are enjoying it. This is what I inferred from reading other posts. Again we're not bashing his acting, just disappointed how the drama turned out. It's not bad, but not what we had expected. In my opinion, the crew members are to blame for. They knew that he doesn't do skinship thing, why bother casting him in the first place.

Some scenes you can tell he's not into his character as much.... especially when it comes to his interaction with the FL. She did her job well and he's like forcing himself to interact with her.

Do you know which interview? That's a shame that they actually accepted his request. If I were them, I would just follow the original author of the book.

You should watch the prequel first. A lot of things from this drama relate back to their past lives. It also explained why the FL falls in love with the ML so fast. If you're not into historical drama, maybe try to watch clips of the prequel from iqiyi youtube. I really do recommend you watch it though. Trust me, you won't regret it!

Of course she has her favorite scenes. It's not like she's hating the drama.... just pointing out parts that she thinks can be improved. Criticism should be well received just like compliments.

I think they're trying to portray him as inexperienced when it comes to sweet words and actions.... by now his characters should have been developed or reaching there.
