When I began watching it, I was turned off by the fact that Li Qin was playing a character who was supposed to…
I am not sure why you got the impression that she's supposed to be ten... maybe I missed something? I thought in the first two or so episodes she's maybe a teenager (around 17 or something like that) and after those introductory episodes there's a time skip around 5 years. I don't think they ever explicitly state what everyone's age is though. They do say after the time skip that it's about time for MZX to get married already, so she's definitely not young.
People need to chill. First the ratings on this site are literally useless, does anyone actually look at them? This will get a ton of 10's as soon as it airs and the rating will even out. Second this is not a web drama, it's supposed to air on Hunan TV. Which means schedule, which cannot be changed overnight, just because the circumstances changed. It will likely air in the first half of 2021, but any rumored date is just that - rumor, even if they guess right, still no one knows. My bets are on somewhere around Valentine's day (not based on anything other than it fits the mood and they did somewhat start the promotion at Starlight awards). Ether Hunan will find a slot in their schedule or they'll sell the rights.
I've been rewatching this for the n'th time every time I need something to lift my mood. A really great show: the host is amazing, the music is beautiful and everyone is always making fun of each other. It's really worth watching, not just performances, but the whole show, because it is hilarious (with or without subs). But I hope the nice person, that has translated episodes 10 and 11, will continue translating the last 3 episodes too.
I just watched the show. Love it. My friend asked do they performed live or miming?
As far as I understand how it goes: they are actually performing (for the audience that is sitting there), but what you hear in the video is ether somewhat cleaned up or studio recorded version
Okay legit question. Did it not drive you guys crazy seeing how bad makeup and hair was? Like they did Sean Xiao…
Mmm... I think director actually said it was on purpose. Ji Chong is a bounty hunter, who travels in the open sun a lot and sleeps wherever he can, so his look has to reflect that.
I don't think anyone is saying this type of abusive and toxic relationship can't exist in dramas. If people like…
Of course, I wasn't trying to say that everyone has to like it :) my comment was mostly in reply to comments saying that there shouldn't be a drama with such relationships these days, because this is an outdated plot device or something like that (I did see those). Though to me the fact that MZX didn't "get over" Bo Wang easily seems more realistic and actually in line with the fact that this is not love, but infatuation. Every person is different, of course, but it is not so rare for women (even nowdays) to defend any action of a man they think they are in love with, even when he obviously treats her like s***t. And it doesn't go away all that quickly. That being said, I get that it's frustrating to watch, and can't say that I actually felt interested in the fate of their relationship, myself.
For anyone interested:It is rumored Xiao Zhan will be on Dragon TV New Year's Eve Performance - So if anyone wants…
They confirmed it. It's official now. There's an announcement on Dragon tv official page. Not going to watch (new year is for family), but thought maybe people who don't have access to Chinese social media would like to know
There is something I would like to say to comments that call ML-FL relationship outdated and romanticizing abuse. But first disclaimer: this is not me saying your opinion is not valid, lets just call it "I disagree and want explain why" (Sorry, came back from You Fei comment section, people are so aggressive there, that now I feel the need to add something like this anytime I disagree with someone). Ok, so. The point. While I do not consider main couple's relationship "romantic", I also feel that not every love story has to be nice and romantic. Toxic, self-destructive relationships do exist, why can there not be a story about them? This depends on expectations from the drama and how you look at what's going on with the characters. I was not looking for romance, so to me the "tragic love story" part of this drama was a plot device to build upon, but not the main focus. If you look at MZX and BW as "two people too infatuated with the idea of each other to see past their own nose", instead of two people "in love", the drama becomes a little more tragic, but all the better for it. And I am still here. Why I am I still here? I've finished this drama. Wolf, let me go! :)
If I understand ZhanZhan's hint correctly, I'm in cloud nine :)I am not surprised that China has gone crazy. There…
I really don't know anything about hints or whatever, just found it really funny that this would be the one topic to stay on weibo hot search for hours. Especially considering Chinese obsession with weight loss
It's not related to anything, just hilarious. The current #1 hot search on weibo is "Xiao Zhan will eat bread" (because he posted it on oasis and now it's #1 topic). I'm dying from laughter. Why, people, why??))))))
Bo Wang is on the mountain and looking at a butterfly. I thought the voiceover meant that after MZX died Bo Wang…
They said he disappeared with her body, so he was probably alive for some time at last. I'm somewhat confused whether he was still dying from illness, but he likely still died (or ended his life). I think they were trying to interpret the whole "wolfs mate for life" trope. To me this last scene in the forest was about his last moments and then they met in the afterlife. It's probably the censoring, so they made it as ambiguous as possible.
So far what I'm getting is that the format of the storytelling in this drama is just not something that I like. The whole multiple little sub stories within the main storyline, is not for me. We get a new character every 2-3 episodes and then they are dead, but I honestly can't get myself to care. Not my format, already fast-forward too much. Dropping this.
I understand what you are saying about the novel. But there is a reason it is called adaptation. It is a job of…
Just had another thought after posting a reply. I'm ok with predictable and don't mind cheesy (I watched a lot of shounen anime, there's nothing more predictable than that). But if that's what they were going for, then they needed a faster pace, more action (instead of talking) and maybe some... end goal, that characters are aiming for. Cause so far all I get is that she wants to be a master. Well, good for her, but what's the motivation?

After watching up to ep 18, have agree about cutting scenes. It's also weird to me that for the ML we get 10 seconds of backstory... and it's actually enough! It explains what needs to be explained. But then we spend half an episode on a character that gets killed by the end of it. I guess this was meant to be an entertaining drama rather than a serious one, but I'm actually bored out of my scull. Just isn't my thing, maybe.
this drama and You Fei don't have the same genre and general idea...
I really do not want to argue semantics here. What I meant is that they basically have the same target audience, though Duoluo also has the advantage of having a lot of book and anime fans. If they are released at the same time they will clash and the comparison game will start. No one wants that.
