trigger warning: attempted rape, drug abuse it's completely brushed over. i know it happens a lot in thai BLs but it will never fail to infuriate me. here it's used as a cheap plot device.
Yeah at the last episode during the scene before they kissed I felt something was a little off... Maybe because…
yeah totally. this drama was pretty well received and had a nice premise, so a second season would help tie up loose ends and also give hyunjun a chance to get more used to his character.
yeah ik, that's why i'm not surprised at yoo jun's talent, but tbh the years don't matter when you're putting on a performance. the bottom line is that hyunjun underperformed compared to yoo jun, which took away from the drama, even though we are aware that this is his first time so it makes sense.
kinda surprised that this show's rating is lower than color rush's? probably because people really wanted to like CR due to the premise (mono/probe is an interesting setup) and the fact that hyunjun's in it, but to my star is much better executed and more mature in a way (having a suicide attempt scene without any sort of trigger warning and obsession/possession doesn't make a drama more mature). the chemistry between the leads in to my star is beautifully blossoming and the shots are so aesthetically pleasing. i hope people raise their standards from color rush because of this drama...

yeah i agree. hyunjun's voice was completely devoid of emotion whenever he wasn't acting playful. the kiss was really awkward, but the yoo jun and hyunjun are awkward irl too so i wasn't surprised
dropped this drama after episode 7 as it was airing. some people said it was so good that it was like their oxygen but it honestly just took mine away...felt like i was dying of boredom, which is sad because i really wanted to like it.
Is it rated R maybe for the off screen attempted suicide?
yes it’s from viki. i understand what you mean, but lgbt content always gets restricted ratings in korea. users don’t submit the rating. it’s honestly unfair though. it happens on other platforms as well.
I'm glad I wasn't here when it said 30 minutes just to be disappointed again when it went down to 10. We'll get…
it’s still technically 30 min. originally it was 3 episodes 30 min each but now it’s 9 episodes 10 min each. plus 3 episodes will air every friday, so there’s basically no change.
I seriously think this is extremely underrated…Not many BL fans around me are watching this or talking about…
true...way too many thai BL fans are straight women who fetishize gay men, and so producers end up catering to them and making rushed shows with shallow plots, rape culture, and cute "gay" boys flirting with each other. obviously there are a few good ones but the thai bl industry is way too overhyped. i'm not sure why taiwanese lgbt dramas are so hard for us to find especially since there's no censorship there like in china. they probably focus on advertising domestically but hopefully they learn to take their marketing to the international level. you can find the show on wetv though.
If you know me from the itsay comment section, I tend to overthink haha so based on the trailers and synopses…
wait i went back to the trailer and couldn't find the part where shu yi was screaming "do you love me?" i was wondering where you found that trailer vid? maybe i was looking at a shorter version idk
