I decided to read a bit of the Webtoon. The Grandson and Grandfather pair are on the devious and money hungry side πππThey are in the humorous sly side in the webtoon compared to how serious they are in the show. I like the show's characterisation tbh.
They wasted so much airtime on the pool party segment in the beginning just to intro the challenge . As fun as it was they could have fit the mega crew challenge in this one episode.

Most of the projects he has been in for some time have been a miss for me so i get your point. I will say that he is doing a good job acting wise on this show in my opinion and i see it as a good pick . I did not like Sound of magic per se but he did well portraying that character too . JCW probably doesn't want to be typecast as the action hero and wants variety. Hopefully he will pick something that hits all the right points and strikes gold but i commend him for trying out unexpected and different roles.
The way they edit the dance battles isn't working or feels off to me. It also makes some of the judges decisions seem random in some instances. I find myself questioning why some people won or lost a lot

I really misjudged him. After watching him on a couple Youtube videos i would get why everybody was so gung-ho for him. He seems like a vibe. It is a pity the show doesn't capture that aspect. I would not be surprised if he was coached but it doesn't seem necessary.
The producers and editors lowkey fumbled if everything you mentioned is true. I believe the way they edit the show is to blame in general and they did not manage to showcase all the participants a well as they could have.
Chang Min has a bomb personality. He seems like a funny guy judging from the persona in a few videos i have seen of him online. He seems chill but fun .Why does he seem so dry and reticent on the show? π
Chang Min reminds me of Han Ji Woo from To My star. It might just be the fact that the character is a tall, good-looking and reticent chef as well ππ
PCH has to be big mouse in some capacity or knows who is π We don't know anything about PCH and he could be a spy the whole time undercover. Maybe Big Mouse is not an individual but a collective. It could be an alias for some secret organisation and PCH is just a frontman.
I'm surprised the FL got so much flack. Is she bland? Yes, Kim Yeon Doo literally did nothing wrong. Those closest to her kind of isolated her so no wonder she got closer to the SML. This was never a real love triangle because she never entertained anything beyond friendship. ML had trust issues but i don't get where that stemmed from. What was she supposed to do? The ML manifested most of their problems by over reacting and letting his insecurities get the best of him.
No. It is there though but only really established in last quarter of the show it seems. There were hints here and there in the beginning as well but the focus is on solving cases for the most part
