This show was just okay but kind of sadly forgettable. I have seen worse but i was bored with the story overall and did not really care about the characters that much. It s still a light and watchable though.
The villain guy is kind of comicalπ€£ Why did they choose that wig and overall styling for his character? I know they want him to be the psycho unhinged type but they did him dirty lol.
I wonder if the ending will be worth it. I don't see it happening even if FL ends up with somebody. The romance does not even matter for me . I just feel like her ''Second life " was not much of a second chance comeuppance or one that made any waves. She should have gone full villainess or set the world on fire if this was the path she was taking .
Boeing is just an elite level unconventional relationship counsellor and a hands on coach.πππ€£ He is who you call to strengthen couples before the real world breaks them. The man takes all his jobs seriously. The man is in high demand and these couples are lucky he managed to take them all on one by one as clients on such short notice.
I'm waiting for that divorce. As long as it actually happens at some point soon so we can focus on other connections ππI'm over Mu Yao and her main character energy too.
I agree!! I had 4 episodes left and I just skimmed through the episodes just to reach the ending since it's last…
I agree with you to a degree.
I just meant Ning Yi achieved the goals he had been working towards his whole life before he met her. Feng Zhi Wei was the happiness he truly wanted in a perfect word.
FZW made her choice a long time ago before that talk in honour of Dacheng and to appease those who died for it. I think she felt like she owed it to them and her own personal happiness was not above it. The past had to die with her for the country to move forward. The history, grudges and sacrifices weighed too heavy for her to let it go and just trust in Ning Yi. It was never about just the two of them and she did not die just because of the court situation. The two of them could have could have figured it out as smart as they were. She felt like it would be selfish for them to be together and he would never let her go if she were to just leave
The kings of miscommunication but they made it fun and sexy . Japan never fails when it comes to weird and wacky relationship dynamics in general. What a couple of weirdos we have in this here BL. I was living for the weird . I devoured the awkwardness. I wanted more in a lot of ways but it was a fun watch. I was in the mood for this even if it kind of made toxic look cute. The chemistry might have clouded my judgment a bit too. I would not take this too seriously.

Since you ended on ep 47 in summary the last 20 eps..
Feng Zhi Wei ended up marrying Helian Zheng thanks to the emperor's selfishness . She moved to Jin after the death of her family and finding out the truth about her lineage and how the emperor usurped the throne from her family. She ended up meeting her twin brother who secretly survived and was leading bloody pagoda to seek revenge. That brother was the mastermind to alot of things . Ning Yi and Feng Zhi Wei basically became reluctant enemies but helped each other still
Ning Yi's mom ended up being alive and was held captive by the sick emperor all this time. She ended up being killed soon after she reunited with Nig Yi. she was only released because Ning Yi gave up his royal status to be a commoner
Ning Yi ended up being emperor. His father made him emperor after his brother tried to kill him and frame Ning Yi for it. He finally could make Feng Zhi wei empress after all truths were revealed but on their wedding day Feng Zhi Wei killed herself due to the weight of all the sacrifices and deaths in her name. The bad blood between their families and people was too much. It was a bittersweet end because ning yi got what he wanted but lost her
Congrats on finishing! To be honest, I don't think I've seen a "decent" emperor in the most the dramas I've watched.…
I'm glad i finished .
Love Like the Galaxy had a good emperor. Although he was not shown to be heavily political but at least he was not as paranoid and ruthless as most of them.
The Emperor is so bottom of the barrel. Everything was his fault from the beginning. One of the worst fathers and husbands in Royal dramaland too.π I have 6 episodes left before it is taken off Netflix and i am dreading how it is going to end.
I appreciate them not completely neglecting Kwon Min Ju as an individual. I lowkey want to know how her life actually ended up in the future more than the lead couple getting together tbh. I have read/watched a lot of isekai/transmigration/soul swapping/body double etc type stories and is irks me sometimes how easily the OG person whose life is co-opted gets forgotten or erased.
They overlook how messed up it is for the person whose body gets taken over. Could you imagine the trauma of knowing people only like or treat you well when someone else is in control of your body?!?!?
This show was confusing most of the way but i powered through. It managed to make me want to understand and know how it ends somehow. The FL really carried this show for me.
I feel like Mew is actually the glue of that friend group tbh. I don't think he was the undercover villain everyone…
Exactly my thoughts!! He could not have puppet mastered anything in the beginning but he now has the potential to flip a switch and be a world destroyer .
i've had this theory for a while nowwhat if mew is the actual villain and the craziest of them all?as we know,…
I feel like Mew is actually the glue of that friend group tbh. I don't think he was the undercover villain everyone suspected but maybe he will become the biggest one. This whole situation could be his villain origin story where he begins to crack or go off the deep end. Mew 2.0 might be cooking something wicked in the name of revenge π€£
