Poor Lai Yi, and here I hoped this drama would result in him getting more main roles but seing as people are stupid and hate on the character he plays that may not happen :( he will forever be the SML now :(

hey, while the drama is engaging and the MLs are awesome and have good chemistry, the drama is full of cliches (you can see my post below where I listed a few). That alone won't allow my conscience to give it a 10. I know it has Lay Yi in it but story wise I can't stand these oh too smart and too amazing FLs. Even if it's Bai Lu.
first of all 36 episodes? i thought it was going to have 48? Also, I disagree with so many of the comments. Bai Lu plays well but seriously nothing outstanding among so many talented actresses. Lai Yi plays well and at least is manly when you compare him with the Luo Yunxi from LIS. In my opinion, Luo Yunxi is not manly at all and looks like he needs a hamburger or 2. Sorry. Another thing while the story is engaging I'm sad that this is yet another drama which reinforces the stereotype that as long as you are pretty any kind of behaviour is acceptable. (including placing one's dirty shoes on tables). Pretty much the message is the more obnoxious you are the better while the good (later turned bad) and well-mannered girls will never get the guy. it is yet another drama where the FL is portrayed as a genius with answers to all of ML's problems. She is street smart and oh soo brilliant, wise beyond her years it makes you wonder how the ML ever functioned without her. Everybody she meets adores or loves her, apart from the female antagonist who she is jealous of ML's feelings for her. lol same old same old - oblivious FL and oh so serious ML who transforms when he meets the FL. none the less I will watch for LAi Yi. based on the comments here he needs the support.
