Alive. Real. Unforgettable. Didn’t leave—just stayed, somewhere I didn’t know existed. Touched something quiet. Real in ache. Still not gone. Sir Kim Taeyang my wholeheartedly respect for you. Thank you.

I don’t know what to write—I'm completely blank right now. It’s not perfect, and that’s exactly why I loved it so much. Unpredictable.
I don’t even have the words to describe Zhang Ling He's performance—it was a true masterpiece.
The script, music, art, and direction were all exceptional.

Just look at the main cast and synopsis, it's enough to hooked me in.

Many moments I skip_fast forward watched it. The direction could have been much better, with tighter sync between the flow of the screenplay and the overall tone. The male lead's performance was disappointing, but the supporting cast—especially Furukawa Kotone—did a brilliant job, delivering emotional arcs that felt genuine and well-executed.

Yes, it's a grounded, slice-of-life kind of story, but for me, it lacked that essential spark. It’s like using the wrong mix of fuel in a car—without the right refinement, you won’t get a smooth or safe ride. That’s what felt missing.

Still, it’s not a bad watch, and I don’t regret spending time on it.

Intrigued concept & story but bad screenplay ruins everything.

Writer-director Hwang Dong-hyuk did his best. I’m sure he had so many possible ending scenarios, and he chose this — I respect that. But if you want to go the realistic way, then commit to that. Or go fully cinematic like Season 1. This one kind of jingles between both. Not a bad ending, and I’m sure everyone got the meaning behind it. But honestly, it’s nowhere near Season 1, which I expected. Because yeah, bringing back that nostalgia — even for your own creation — isn’t easy. And end credit of USA version hint was the worst.

At the end, what’s the fùçking moral in it? Why the fùçki we need season 2, season 3 if it’s all just the same repeated circle. Please excuse me for the language. It's brilliant i ger the mag but that's not how it should end.

A chaotic blend of every school-setting violence-action drama ever made, with the school election as its core plot—utterly directionless and all over the place. I understand the intended message and final outcome, but the screenwriter made a blunder that feels beyond repair. But not a worst watch—editing was crisp and kept things engaging. 5

if you haven't watched it yet you've missed out on the most beautiful K-drama of all time.
Yeah, it looks like that. After reading many reviews and appreciations, I’ll binge-watch it in a couple of days

After watching Episode 2:
What am I seeing here? A masterful performance by Jeon Yeo-been and Namkoong Min. Other departments—like direction, screenplay(could have more nourishing) , and sound—beautifully complement their acting.
High expectations often ruin good experiences—but this drama shatters that illusion. It speaks for itself.
There’s a long way to go, and I have no idea where it’s heading—but I’m here for every moment.
