After watching the 1st episode:- Wow, fast-paced, brilliantly directed & edited drama with a solid soundtrack. It has everything you need in a drama where you can give your 1 hour—totally worth it. Performance is also at the top. Superb 👏👏. I'm hooked 👌. 10 🌟 1st ep for me.
This is just getting better and better like fine wine ,this si just brilliant. After a long, long time, I feel like I'm watching something bold, courageous, and incredibly real. I'm absolutely loving it! The writing, performances, and direction are exceptional, complemented by a superb soundtrack and score.

Thanks for responding! A drama should be engaging and enjoyable during that one hour—that's what truly matters, and I think this one does absolute justice to it. People should watch it with an open mindset, without carrying any baggage about how the star lead actors or actresses should be portrayed. They are performers and should have the freedom to take on diverse roles. If viewers approach it this way, they’ll find more enjoyment than disappointment.

1. The "cheating" part – For me, that wasn’t cheating. It was purely a situational decision the male lead made, and that relationship was driven by physical desire, nothing more.
2. Breaking the usual norms – The drama isn’t following the typical formula viewers expect, like openly addressing topics such as sex and other taboo subjects. But that’s the beauty of this drama—it dares to discuss things that should be talked about, without shame. If someone approaches it with a negative mindset, they’ll interpret it negatively. Back when I was a student, we had discussions about such topics with our female teachers—not out of awkwardness but to learn and improve our understanding.
3. Unrealistic expectations – Some viewers may have set unrealistically high expectations for this show. Personally, I had huge expectations too. While it hasn’t completely surpassed them, it’s close enough, and I’m really happy with When the Stars Gossip. It doesn’t conform to the usual norms to please viewers, and that’s what makes it so much more interesting.
After watching episode 8: Oh man, what can I say? This is absolutely brilliant—so good, so satisfying! I couldn’t ask for more. The tension and the chemistry between the pair are out of this world. However, the screenplay could have been a bit more balanced, as the supporting cast hardly gets any scenes.
