Yeah, I finished it. It started off really well, and I completely lost myself in watching it and waiting for the next episode. It pains me to say this, but it loses its momentum towards the end. The editing feels rough, and the emotions are inconsistent. One of the biggest drawbacks is the female lead shifting her emotions so rapidly; at times, it's overly melodramatic and slow. Plus, the cliffhanger—or rather the so-called ending—is a letdown. That said, I can’t deny that I’m still very excited for Season 2, mainly because of its unique theme, stellar performances, and stunning set design. Until then, goodbye!
If this ep, the ep6 won't skyrocket the ratings than i don't know what to comment or what else it has to do. Ep6 was absolutely brilliant, wow... i enjoyed every bit of it and can't wait for the next. 👍😃
I wanted him to go hard too but He couldn’t without “hitting the grass and alerting the snake” though 😭.
Yeah, let’s see how it goes. I said I wanted him to go hard because the emotional trauma from the previous episode needed balance—it would’ve felt right to see him unleash. But I think it’ll explode somewhere in the middle; the water’s already boiling at 150°C.😃
Not satisfied with the direction in this particular episode. After all that struggle, when JCY saw Mudan, where was that unwavering emotion and rage towards the general? It felt so lame, to be honest. I wanted to see him go hard, man. If the scenes had been executed better, this would have given a lot more satisfaction after all the pain and struggle we witnessed.
"Man, I’m loving every bit of it! Wow, the screenplay and direction are amazing—they're truly the best in their business. Not a single dull scene! I can't even describe how I’m holding myself together while waiting for the next episodes to drop.
