So there's a chance both seven and xukai will promote for their drama ABAY? That would be nice if they're promoting…
CP war is a possibility, but it will also bring a lot of attention to both the dramas.
I personally don't want the CP war. The last time Xu Kai had two dramas release at the same time (ALP and FIYS), fortunately, there was no CP war. I'm hoping for the same now.
I have a feeling that Tencent might be planning to release ABAY as soon as CP6 is finished airing. It could be…
Chinese Paladin 6 (Sword and Fairy) -- Xu Kai filmed this drama right before he filmed for ABAY, and now both are set to release back to back, hopefully.
What KimYeJin suggested. And few more below:1. Don't Turn From Summer -- This novel is the most similar to As Beautiful…
Oops, I made a mistake with the last novel name. I just edited my post, please check again.
I seem to always confuse between [Starlight Has No Past] & [Downstairs 249, Upstairs 251]. Downstairs 249, Upstairs 251 is also a very good novel, if you want to read it.
can anyone tell me some novels to similar to this ?
What KimYeJin suggested.
And few more below:
1. Don't Turn From Summer -- This novel is the most similar to As Beautiful As Beijing. However, unlike Han Ting, whom most of us readers like, the ML in this novel can be unlikable, like really really unlikable. It is not fully translated though (98 chapters out of 125 have been translated).
2. Nuptial Chamber Next Door -- Again, you might not like ML in this one in the beginning. But once you know the full picture, you will change your mind.
3. Don’t Fall In Love With The Boss -- They already made a drama adaptation of this novel, Legally Romance. But the drama adaptation does not stand a chance against the novel. So so good.
4. Arrogant Meets Passionate -- Han Ting and the ML in this novel have bit of similarities. Both were casual in their relationships before they meet FL.
5. Starlight Has No Past -- All the novels I suggested, with the exception of Don’t Fall In Love With The Boss, are very mature and realistic romances that can happen in real life. This novel is also like that.
Honestly this! they need to remind me as well, why aren't they together/ FL isn't reciprocate/open to ML feelings…
I agree. But as I said, I can get behind this analysis. There was this c-novel, Kiss of Venus, I had just finished re-reading it (3rd time, I think), and it had a similar situation between FL and ML. FL broke up with ML so that they could pursue their dreams without any constraints. Three years later, they meet each other again. The difference in this novel story is that, after a bit of getting to know each other again, they end up having a one-night stand on FL's birthday. ML goes to take bath and FL decides to accept whatever ML says after he comes out from the bath --- Take it as just a one-night stand and forget it. Or get back together. Or take revenge on her. All she was going to agree with him. When I read that, I suddenly felt the situation in this drama is to my preference as compared to what happened in that novel.

Someone gave a good analysis for this a few days ago on here. FL is probably not accepting ML because if she did, it would mean that she was wrong in breaking up with him the way she did 8 years ago. That is a fact, but she is not ready to accept that fact mentally. And ML knows that, and he is trying to break that mental barrier. I can accept this.
Cheng Yao, man, before you publicly propose to someone, you need to have a basic understanding of where you stand…
Just watched Ep 16 preview, looks like he is moving on, and already moving in with Tong Xin?? And she even gave him her ex-husband's room to stay in. wtf!
Yes haha, I don't know where he got his confidence from to confess publicly when there is very slight chance she…
The problem is, there is not even a slight chance she was accepting that proposal. And Cheng Yao himself should know that. If there was, I wouldn't mind it as much as I did.
Cheng Yao, man, before you publicly propose to someone, you need to have a basic understanding of where you stand in that person's heart. There is not even a 0.00000001% chance that Lin Xi was going to accept that proposal. And you know it.
A really disgusting move from Cheng Yao, tbh. He knows Lin Xi does not like him romantically, it's very evident. Before this, even though I felt he was a bit annoying sometimes, I actually appreciated the fact that he was pursuing someone despite all the odds against him. And if he had failed in his pursuit, I would even feel a bit sad for him. But to publicly propose to Lin Xi, despite knowing that she has not an iota of romantic interest in him, I can't help but question his intentions. Is he trying to force her to accept his proposal with the help of the crowd? He even asked for it as a gift for winning the competition. What made him think that she would accept him? Plain disgusting.
Apparently the news about livestream got leaked by iQiYi so tencent canceled the livestream🙄. I am confused…
Why would Tencent cancel the livestream even if it was leaked by Iqiyi? What is the logic here? They can still go ahead with the planned livestream even if it was leaked beforehand by another company.
Some are saying that hunan already have lists of dramas to fill the spot so abay may air in march or April.
I have a feeling that Tencent might be planning to release ABAY as soon as CP6 is finished airing. It could be considered as riding on the success of CP6, since CP6, without any promo or trailers is generating a lot of buzz in the last few days. There are credible rumors that CP6 will be released on 18th Jan, so it is possible for ABAY to be released in mid to late Feb.
There were rumors that Xu Kai would be attending Hello Sat on the 18th with Esther Yu to promote CP6, but now the official guest list that was released had neither of them. So, I'm a bit skeptical about this.
