I was a bit miffed about the schedule before, but after reading the blog about how they license a drama, I can only feel grateful for their efforts.

I thought I read the novel so many times, even translated it, that I would not be that emotional watching the extra episodes. But I still ended up a sobbing mess. 😭😭😭

FIYS actually has a lot of story left after where it ended. The novel had about 60-70 extra chapters where they go and win the world championship. But it's mostly gaming focused and less on romance.

Yup, I always tend to forget that even though it was the first Xu Kai drama I watched while it was airing. I had already watched AMA and The Legends, but a few months after they aired.

He is a bit of a quirky in WOL. It is more of an historical romance, with little bit wuxia style fighting.

Ancient Love Poetry is a xianxia drama you can definitely try.

Linjiang Mountain is another quirky character, and definitely worth a watch for the laugh riot it is.

He played a quirky character that turned serious in Court Lady, but I'm not a fan of this drama. Very less screen time for the leads, even less of them being together.

Sword & Fairy also had him play a quirky character.

Once Upon A Time in Linjiang Mountain, Wonderland of Love, Ancient Love Poetry (as Qing Mu... as Bai Jue he was aloof), She and Her Perfect Husband, Court Lady, and a few more. Actually, he played quirky characters more often than he played aloof characters.

They are not stingy, they have to follow the schedule given to them by the one selling them the license to the drama.
