Not reading all that. Just from the first paragraph, I see you understood HT character wrong. He is ruthless, but he's not a fool to make enemies out of someone just because he's got feelings for a woman.
ZD is someone he cannot offend, she has a strong background, meanwhile HT himself is not well established as the CEO of his company. It is a big risk he is not willing to take just yet. As simple as that. You can grasp as many straws as you can to convince yourself that he can afford to make a villain out of Zeng Di, but that is simply not how it works.
