My recommendation as a Cheng Yi fan and a fan of Cdramas is to watch the episodes back to back, at least a few so they don't feel so jarred and disjointed. I found it hard at first to understand some of the characterization of the ML and the way his personality or behavior changed so much even in the same scenes until a few episodes in. But rewatching them again I picked up so many things faster and enjoyed the series a lot more than the first time I saw them. And these two new episodes revealed so much and are moving the story along rather nicely. In the end you can only be the judge of what you think of what you are watching. If you do give this series a try would love to hear your take on it.

Omg I really hope not, that scene in the swords room was so touching. He really needed that hug and to have that moment shattered by betrayal would be devastating. But then again he did seem quite fond of XQS, like too fond of him.

Omg so much was revealed in these two episodes. I am starting to hate the brothers even more especially the second, he keeps putting bad ideas into the other's head. And they better keep their hands off their sister.

For some reason I keep thinking it might be the second brother. But whoever it is they are hinting that he could take the look of other people, that or the person in question is lying. I can't wait to find out who it is.

I am extremely sad that I started watching this series two days ago. I was patiently waiting for it to air then got super busy that the days slipped by. Then I remembered and have powered through all the aired episodes and am now in constant torture to wait till 5am to watch two new episodes. I wish it was already the last day where I get to watch 4 episodes. Hope they decided to release the last episodes earlier like they did with Immortal Samsara. I want to see the whole series already.

I believe the same and I think it is XQS other half, Li Chen Zhou but what the masked villain said threw me off and now I am not so sure. He said someone in the Power Gang might already have the token, either a hidden agent or the boss but if the boss had it why lie about it. Unless LSF has it and was using it as an excuse to attack QXS parents to get his revenge.

Even the unaired episodes have been rated 3 stars. It's hate and spite and nothing to do with the series. I have seen this happen all the time with shows. My rating put it on 8.0 but only for a few minutes. Very sad, this show is really good.

I love how his second character is No. 2 and he has barely showed up. Just looking at his character design is enough to bring a smile to my face all day long. Can't wait for his two characters to interact with each other.

I think one of the main reasons is that they aren't understanding or paying the proper attention to the story, character and plot. He seems to change from silly and goofy to serious and extremely smart, to very sad and lonely and at times rather quickly depending on what character he is speaking or interacting with. This is very typical of a videogame when the person playing the game decides what dialogue or direction to take the interaction and I love it. But some might be confused or not understand why. For example, when he first met Tang Fang he was very cold and even rude at times then he would turn around and talk to her brother or his friends in a very friendly manner in the same scene. Once he started to connect with her that changed and now he acts differently towards her and in the same way he acts with his friends. Another example was when he met the four men who collect dead bodies. He acted silly, goofy and wasn't afraid to say what was on his mind all in a way to get out of the predicament but as soon as Liu Sui Feng showed up his facial expression took a 180 and he got silent and serious. This is on purpose. In Mysterious Lotus Casebook his character did something similar, but it was not to this extreme and it was mainly done when he was trying to lie or hide something from the other MLs. Here it is cranked up to 1000% and I think people are disconnecting with the character for that reason and saying it's bad acting when it is completely the opposite.

Yes, those brothers are getting on my nerves. The second brother always seemed strange to me, in some scenes he seemed like he was masking a smile when our poor QXS was suffering or in trouble. It was until episode 18 that I thought maybe I was wrong but then he goes on to kick and hit our poor MC. If they had listened to him and gotten there faster, they could have saved their parents instead of blaming QXS. But something tells me maybe the parents are dead yet, I hope they aren't. Liu Sui Feng had said he wanted to drag the father's body back, let's hope he took them back alive but is only torturing our MC with the idea that they are dead.

I think he is very lonely and acts childish at times to mask it. I also think that is the main reason he fell in love with stories like the one he is trapped in. He lost his mother and was shocked but extremely happy to see her again in the story. I think that is one of the main reasons he got so attached to the characters and sees them as real people and not just a story. I am really enjoying seeing him go from one range to the other. His expressions are just so adorable when he is being goofy and touching when he is in pain and serious.

They did find out about the Hero Token when the Sword King framed and accused XQS of taking it for himself. Can't recall if they found out about Old Madame Wu being the original reason for the attack but they knew about the Token.

I thought it was Li Chen Zhou because his chin looked very familiar, and he is the only other white hair character we know of yet. I don't know if he was also a player that got pulled in or someone who hacked or knows of the system. In one of the trailers the hooded man hints at knowing the system and in the latest episode he hints at knowing our MC and enjoying causing chaos and desiring to resetting the martial world to his liking.

I think it is the sister XXY.

He has appeared in teasers and trailers but first time in the actual episodes.

She is the real mastermind behind the project, the real villain. The NK even said that the mastermind behind it hid very well. Now we know why she was able to hide so well. She doesn't age.

E didn't show up, they just showed his file and the guy said to call him. The one who showed up is Frank, he went back to the place his mother used to work and where she sold him off to the US government. He went searching for his past.

I feel bad for him too. He always seemed kind of cold and as if he didn't care about his dad but in the end, it was revealed he did it all for his dad. Where he said, I don't want to be away from you anymore, really tore at my heart. And still, they use his dad to keep him working there. You know they will never clear his father's criminal record as they promised to use it as a bargaining chip to make him do their work for them. They did the same to other lead's mother as well, they used her father to keep her there. She was free only until her father died of old age.

He actually went to salon before offing the bad guy lol
