The fact that Part 2`s explanation is twice as longas Part 1`s,and it only has 10 episodes,plus we`re not even through them all is hilarious.Man,I thought the reasoning behind why we`re seeing Naksu as she is now is crazy,Hong Sisters are just outdoing themselves with every new episode😂

I agree with the first part of your comment,but the second might be misconstrued.She does go out every day,but because almost all of her personality has become pining after Jang Uk,she doesn`t feel like a complete character anymore,let alone Naksu.

Where Mudeok(Naksu) had all these layers to her(nothing to do with her being badass), this Bu Yeon iteration of her feels pretty flat in comparison.Naksu in S1 was a savage,sure,but she was also educational,calculating,funny,closed off,then she opened up,not very affectionate in physical sense but was good with words,determined,brave,smart etc.

GYJ is doing her best,it`s not her fault,the character just became...a mishmash.Now she`s relegated to being clingy with glimpses of Naksu shining through once in a while.

That`s why I said `would`.I`m hoping he does,or if that doesn`t happen,I`m hoping it`s because of Jin Mu`s actions.Also,about her body being...well not burned.Hopefully they explain all these things,that`s the only thing bothering me.

I agree with the confinement part,though them finding her is probably because of Jin Mu,the little snake.I think Park Jin would recognize her,he fought her before.Also Heo grandpa,since he was with the body.It is weird for Yul to not do a double take,but I guess we`ll see...

I...have to say I`m not thrilled with this episode IN REGARDS to Jang Uk and Naksu/Bu yeon meeting again.I think it`s a very convoluted writing direction they`re seemingly taking here.Everything else apart from that?Great.

I can take her memory loss,but the way they met now and how fast their relationship seems to be is very...weird.There is no way she`s Bu Yeon.They`re making it quite obvious.With the chicken,jumping,confidence...Also,how come no one recognizes Naksu`s body?Like I know it`s been 4 years,but even in passing one would stop and think,I feel.

This is probably one of the more original endings I`ve seen of a historical drama, befitting of it.The ending to Consort Hwang is unexpectedly bleak and terrifying.One of better historical dramas I`ve seen recently,for sure!

I know it`s a late reply,but there`s a huge difference between the two throughout the episodes.Their dynamic is like a cold FL and a clumsy,but cute ML,even though they start off similar.

Started Ep 4,but it`s not finished yet so I gotta be careful!😭

The last five minutes of the first episode are AMAZING.One of the best male performances I`ve seen this year.Like,they really had to make me cry,damn.

YESSS,preach girl!He really is the best male lead in HYD universe.This drama really is timeless,tbh.

Haven`t watched that yet but if it`s sad and full of romance,it fits right into historical genre,which I have to prepare to watch.UQU is a bit different. :)

I would LOVE for him to be a lead.He`s got great comedic timing and was definitely a stand out.It`ll be a nice change of pace,as he has personality.

Absolutely one of the better historical dramas to come out recenly,next to Mr.Queen.It`s intriguing,with good writing and sensible choices.
