I`ll watch anything with Gong Hyo Jin,bottom line.I`m very interested in their chemistry though, and given that Lee Min Ho will be playing a gynecologist, whether there`ll be a lot of skinship. Can you imagine a s*x scene in space?I`m dead.😂
I like castings outside the box so I`ll be watching this regardless.
man I dont even ship anyone in this drama and i think the romance in this show is uninteresting but how cant you…
Sure,I get that. But I`m sad for his character development that is now all for naught. If they were going to have him there only to regurgitate what happened in Season 1,then they shouldn`t`ve had him at all.Again, this is all a speculation, maybe they`ll do something better with him. For me,Yul`s strength is in his characterisation, not his romance with Naksu.
i don't think they are going to the love triangule route again, i think he hugged her because he missed her and…
I`m scared too because it`ll break the flow of the story, which has so far been great.I like how they ended up and I don`t want another will they won`t they dilemma.
Two things I`m not obsessed with(mind you,I draw conclusions only based on what`s been shown so far):
1.Like most on this site,I don`t like the amnesia trope. Here,it`s a bit more understandable yet it is still such an unoriginal way to write a fish out of water character.I wanted Naksu to be even more badass, not powerless again. But,if some rumors are to be believed, this will only last for one or two episodes,so I`m hoping they get back on track FAST.
2.I don`t like that the Jang UkxNaksuxYul triangle is present again.I think they did decent enough job of developing Yul that returning him to step one does such a disservice to his growth.I like Jang UkxNaksu.I want more of their turmoils, healing and being badasses together. Not Yul being in love with Naksu again, her being confused and leading to more misunderstandings. It`d be such a letdown to fleshed out characters from Season 1.
And it makes sense,it was gyj after all.All I`m thinking about is how they`re going to explain the burnt body when we see her coming back in it in the preview
This is probably one of the best character driven dramas out there.I mean,I knew it when I saw the team behind it.I would caution those who are thinking of watching it with this:
1.It`s slow and the definition of SLICE OF LIFE.
2.It`s NOTHING like Hometown Cha Cha Cha except for one of the actors and the setting(which I prefer because HCCC is too formulaic for my taste).Except more characterization for both the people of Jeju and the island itself.
I felt like I was hate watching this after some time. So many dumb decisions and characters that are so easily…
Bro,I felt this in my soul.I really detested how finicky Ga On was throughout the whole drama. At one point he was so into this image he himself created of Yo Han,I was convinced they were going to reveal he was a villain all along too.I loved Sun Ah and Yo Han.They basically saved this drama for me.Also, though I liked the relationship between Ga On and Elijah, even I have to say they did Yo Han dirty.Like yes,the man can be overprotective and that`s iffy but he`s been raising this kid and taking care of her but they all make it seem like he`s a neglecting bully.
I kinda have to agree with you,and I was a victim of school bullying that lasted four years.I don`t really need explanations at all in the psychological sense, but I do think, despite good acting and atmosphere, that this drama misses the pointed horror of what happens after the bullying. Most of the time, bullies grow up and become better situated people than the victim. But not all of them lack that sense of regret. Two of my bullies actually apologized for a long time for what they did to me,and while I couldn`t forgive them,I saw the benefit of a positive feeling of closure. And I think this drama kinda fails on that.I like how it`s unhinged but also not in the sphere of bullying,as I have experienced it.
I really can`t wait to see this drama!Love Lee Sang Yeob, but I missed Seo Yea Ji even more. Her absence was felt immensely because she is a really talented actress.Like one of those few you get if you`re lucky. So excited!
Can`t wait for this to be completed so that I can start it.I don`t expect it to be very popular,as most dramas by this writer/director duo only got the attention they deserved years after airing.Happy someone recognized that slice of life dramas can have stories about more than two leads and hope they put the remaining 19 episodes to good use with the omnibus approach.
I like castings outside the box so I`ll be watching this regardless.

IT`S OUR TIME TO RISE

Me,having watched every drama this team wrote and directed:Keep talking,I`m even more interested.
