Short, sweet... but could've been better. Joy's acting was a bit rookie, I expected more from her. ML is gorgeous 😍 💖 cute and fluffy

She should get a new agent. She is the same character in most of her dramas if not all, getting old and annoying.

Had to drop it after the first 15 mins even with Yang Yang looking as hot as he does!

All her expressions and mannerisms in Moon Embracing the Sun (the only drama I've seen her in) reminds me so much of Kim Dong Jun, thought they might be siblings!

Oh I haven't watched Joy of Life... will check it out... can think of one but on a very small scale but I can't remember the name of it, the FL had some kind of power that the ML had to touch I think before he could fall in sleep, gotta look it up - I think I remember her being offhandedly comedic like this but not to ZLS' extent. Will see if I can find it. - Your Sensibility My Destiny is the one I was thinking of but I watched it last year so not sure if I remember it correctly!

oh definitely! You're expecting this totally serious scene then you get this comedic relief delivered on point out of nowhere and it's sweet to watch when it's executed perfectly.

i just finished that too... could feel their affection emanating from the screen! The gazes just give you goosebumps!

the funniest was when he threw the pancake at LBY 🤣🤣🤣 that was so out of the blue, I nearly choked whilst having my coffee 😂😂

right?! I'm cracking up at so many scenes and lines and CCS delivery and timing is impeccable... "why isn't the door soundproof?" lol "the door was open" 🤣😂 something along those lines...

rewatching ep 41sooo cute and funny their convo before he headed off to war... "i even embroidered a rabbit", "a rabbit... i thought it was a rat" 😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣

Rewatching and at ep 32 and am frustrated again with the Crown Prince... glad he got ousted at the end, was not fit to be Emperor at all!

rewatching already 😊 okay ppl... did LBY fall in love with CSS' hand when they first met? when she pointed out the uncle from their carriage? It's the only explanation I could come up fir his expression at that moment... or did I miss something?

on a diff note, just remembering him when he was at war with his dishevelled look and hair, 5 oclock shadow... he's never looked better! Wish there were more scenes of him like that, he looks super hot! 😁

Just binge watched the last eps, this is my first 10 (I think). Everything was just perfect, but I gotta say, ZLS acting was phenomenal 👏 she's just grown leaps and bounds and her delivery, mannerisms and microexpressions here were nothing short of perfection. Leo's acting was good too but some scenes I felrlt he didn't execute well esp when it came to the emotional ones. All the other characters played well esp the Emperor, he was one of my favs together with Si Qi. The storyline didn't get tired or draggy as it went along like some do so was pleasantly surprised at how everything developed nicely. Kudos to all ❤ thankful for the experience with this gem!
