The audience needed the assurance that "Uk is right, he saw through her, she likes him back." Mudeok barely shares her thoughts with the audience, that's why people still have doubts as to why she's still by Uk's side. Many people could tell she was in love with him before today's episode, but to those who were not convinced, this scene provides the ultimate assurance.
