I remember in hotel del luna, there was this annoying support character that had a change of character after falling in love with a really nice support character. Their story was really cute, but unfortunately also bittersweet like everything in that drama. But we knew the end from the beginning.

Choyeon is not SFL. She's a support character who has a crush on ML. She's definitely ending up with Danggu, who's also a support character. The Hong sisters always provide a cute SC couple.

The make up reflects the character's personalities. Yul is not into fashion, but Danggu clearly is. The CP is royalty and he enjoys his position. Even old Heo Yeom likes a little make up. So I think they're trying to distiguish characters based on their personality.
