This concept is very common in fantasy my friend. I watched LBFAD and it was cute and all, but AoS has better writers, the dialogues can't even compare. I cringed so many times at LBFAD but it was fun! haha I gave it a 9.

Naksu didn't run wild because she didn't soul-shift, Buyeon captured her soul. Since her soul was trapped in Buyeon's body, her energy and soul were still there preserved. IF THEY DIDN'T TAKE HER FROM THE LAKE YEONG'S SOUL WOULD SLOWLY DISSIPATE and probably turn into an evil creature 💀

Yeong couldn't see energy before entering BY, but that doesn't mean BY could see before Naksu. I'll try to find the episode she talks with Jin Hogyeong about being blind. All of this is speculation, I'm just trying to figure out things with the evidence I remember.

I liked their chemistry and I understood their bonding. I shipped them hard but Mudeok was so frustrating. Their romance was mostly anticlimatic, the tender scenes were sparse.
