Initially she thought they could somehow work it out but HeeDo understands it eventually and decides to breakup mutually at last. This drama is about HeeDo first love when she is 21.

It may feel cliche but maybe a scene where HeeDo is sick but YiJin could not drop by to see her due to some sudden news break. Maybe writer could show something like this a trigger for HeeDo to break up.
But still I can understand their reasons, even YiJin after reading the diary got to know how much he hurt HeeDo and decided to let her go.

Some are even giving the drama 1 rating. Seriously? Do you really forget first 15 episodes just like that based on ending. ? Doesn't make sense when the writer from first episode itself saying out loudly that they don't end up together.
We can say we are disappointed by the ending, i too felt it's rushed but the reasons for their breakup is legit. But you can't label whole drama as worst based on that. Just my opinion anyways 🤧
