True it annoys me too that people always use Gyeoul or winter garden as their punching bag. Minha and Jaehak have developed a lot too, especially for me Jaehak's story and development is always stand out comparing to other secondary characters. Gyeoul has less screentime on previous eps, in episode 9 they use that as a revealation for her story of course she appears often, same with Jaehak.

There are doctors in real life who smoke too. Just like doctors who eat instant noodle often, don't have 8 hours sleep in a day, have too much coffee, and any other unhealthy habits, we see those in this drama too.

The formula has always been like that actually since S1. In fact, in last season nothing much really happened to them except for Jeongwon's priesthood and Seokhyung's family issue. Ikjun divorcement just passed like that, Songhwa's benign tumor passed like that, Junwan-Iksun happened without many hurdles. This time they show another side of characters, it got me anxious sometimes, what else will happen to them. Who would thought that they "touch" Rosa? Maybe because S1 was an introduction, viewers was still enthusiastic about them.

I feel for her too. But I kinda disagree, Songhwa also had relationship since then, if I'm not mistaken dr Bong said she had long term relationship with her sunbae in college. Ikjun got married around 2013, I think both of them especially her had already moved on. But let's see if we're really heading to that kind of story..

There's one patient record her conversation with Jeongwon in S1. Like what you said that patient seems did minutes research on google. The drug addict patient, we know that he misbehave but in the end it's Gyeoul who got trouble because patient can easily write down their complaint. The one in ep 7, eventually the guardian apologize and write apologize letter to the nurse. In his pov, he still thinks that he's wrong for acting up and needs to apologize which is a win-win for everyone. This isn't really a misbehavior situation, but there's one where Jeongwon gives a heads up to patient's MIL.

In S1E12 where Seokhyeong told them that he wants to spend his time well and he uses band session as an excuse so that they can spend time together, the rest of them silently contemplating, know what Seokhyeong's meant but later they tease him. Very realistic. I think the writer doesn't wanna show that this group has the strongest bonding ever explicitly like usually other dramas did. They talk to each other tho, most of the time it's personally like Jeongwon/Seokhyeong to Ikjun and Songhwa. But sometimes they don't wanna talk about it. One example, I'm touched when Junwan smiled realized that Jeongwon will stay just by looking at his drawer. He only talk about it once but he's happy that Jeongwon stays.

It's indeed lee ilhwa's voice, there's credit for her name but not sure about cameo. They announced well known actors/actress cameo before but haven't heard about lee ilhwa

The things you mentioned might be or might be not shown, knowing that shinlee's style is to left small details and only emphasize the buildup of plot they wanna tell *sigh*. I believe they communicate just fine, Gyeoul being upfront about what she wants from Jeongwon is the prove. Maybe she's just hiding this particular part (her family). Instead, from the conversation in his office they seems unsyncronized about their relationship. And I agree both of them contribute to it.

What I mean is for Jeongwon aware that their current circumstance shows that they're not ready for marriage step yet and still have to work on their relationship. Jeongwon told her few times to tell anything but Gyeoul looks still hesitant, her sudden departure to gwangju emphasize that, he supposedly can sense that, right? He can see thru people, that's what make him being praised. We're already on ep 7, people complaining about them having only fluffs and now the right time for them to have some hurdles. The way his plan cancelled should alerts Jeongwon (who's planning to propose) that they should resolve some things first before ask for marriage.
No, she doesn't ask him to not contact her first, she's just giving prior notice that maybe she can response fast and often to his call and message.

Also she think highly of Jeongwon. He's perfect she said. To have a defect background, moreover about her family, can make her insecure to open up to him.

Even if the theory is untrue the fact that her mother is badly injured is true. Gyeoul isn't on the right mind. As someone who experience almost the same thing, I can assure you that there're so many reason why people can't think straight, moreover to tell truth right away. And she doesn't want to keep things forever, she promises him to tell it later. Actually I expect you to answer my question regarding this: Also where the "I can't tell you what's happening, don't contact me?" and at least be contact with him come from? Because exactly that didn't happen in the drama.
The proposal is supposed to be postponed because look their circumstance, it shows it's not the right time yet to be on that step. Jeongwon should be aware of that since Gyeoul hasn't totally open up to him yet. They still have homework. How do you think best scenario to make a storyline that his plan is ruined rather than what the drama give? Or do you think his plan should be success instead?

So far I only see people concern on how sad Jeongwon but not on sudden bad news for Gyeoul. Of course having your mother badly injured is nothing compared to failed proposal. You have to put your communication in relationship first Gyeoul no matter how frantic your situation. Lmao!! But as expected, it's repetitive pattern like JunSun few weeks ago, that perfect and nice 99z boys shouldn't get hurt even a lil bit and never be wrong, when they sad the girlfriends are in the wrong one. Looks like people forget that Gyeoul through hell almost in whole S1 because Jeongwon being nothing but cold and indifferent to her.

Maybe it's not relatable for you, sounds cliche, unexusable even for having abusing parents because you never experience such a lingering trauma or wounds? My apologize if you did, but of course we can expect everyone acts the same, right? I know you mean no harm but looks like you (and some I found) are downplaying Gyeoul's problem as if it's not a real problem and it should be very easy peasy all the time to tell that kind of bad story to people.
Also where the "I can't tell you what's happening, don't contact me?" and at least be contact with him come from? Gyeoul didn't say that, she said she will tell him later, and she contacted him. The drama emphasize that Gyeoul can't tell lie twice
