It is really worth watching.
Tells a lot about humanity, makes you laugh out loud and cry for some characters.
Give it a go :)
(I'm watching it for the third time now because the actors are crazy good)

The story is about people stuck in an alternate Tokyo, a "new country" in which they have to fight in absurd and deadly games built by their predecessors. As many characters, our main heroes are trying to find their way back to their past lifes.

Games are corresponding with card numbers - which make reference to the English non sense of "Alice in Wonderland" : there are no explanation but cold rules, no moral justice, life is worthless and the warzone is full of crazy characters (with crazy charisma).

Each game has the hidden purpose to question what defines humanity in a very "existentialist" way (show who you are by act, not by thoughts, as the world is about to end) : would you die for your values ? do we need a reason to live ? what is worth sacrificing ?

At the end of the serie, a succesion of explanations are proposed by the Queen of Heart. Each one could be valid, but it's still tricky and finally proven wrong, when our heroes win the game.

The survivors of the game, who had the choice to go back to their world, wake up in an hospital : they all had a cardiac arrest after a meteor hit Tokyo and they had literaly fought to survive in a land between life and death ("Borderlands"), before they were bought back to life.
Everyone has forgotten what happened.

BUT :
- plot twist when the Joker appears on a table in the garden of the hospital, staring right at the spectators (and filling all the plots holes haha) : who really lead the game ? Are the survivors really in reality ? Are WE in reality, as the wind blew on that table just for us ?

(sorry english is bad and summary isn't short haha)

"Weak Hero Class", both series show great friendships through violence, even if the stories are entirely different haha

But the last card "the Joker" is still playing, so we ain't sure the other players are in reality either AND I LOVE THAT END :x

Nah, squid game lacks the depth and the implicit which carry the Borderlands serie

I think at the end the student who was bullied just gave the wrong title of book to kill all of his classmates
- but I don't know if at the end we get the story of the ghost who was a mass kiling teacher or if the ghost borrowed the body of a teacher to mass kill the class :x

Taking away his work TEMPORALY and stoping SNS for a while will help him, because he will have the time to think by himself first and find his own solutions + now SNS is a storm full of love and hate, he must stay away from there so people can cool down.

Why don't you understand that it's not only to protect people, but also to protect himself and that's the best way for him to keep his carrier ?

I dunno, for me for example "proof he has change" would be the way he acts. Maybe if he go talk to victims and try to understand what was wrong. Also maybe (but that's only a dream), if he voiced as a popular person to help victims. That'd be hell of a great proof :)

Young adult with the mindset your family and friends put you, you are now starting to develop as a grown human."

This is not fiction, this is reality. Of course ppl don't want him to live a life of misery. But if you want society to change and if Build wants to change, he has to reflect. Not sweep under carpet. That's how you grow. And I'm happy that's what he chose to do.
(and if you want to stay in fiction : Vegas has to reflect too to grow and be forgotten, that's how it works, he himself said "I'm sorry".)

We're not talking about beeing perfect here. Let me quote Build himself :

Now, this wasn't "mistakes".
To grow as a human, he has to take this hard path and reflect, even if it hurts us because we enjoyed his work so much. And we musn't minimize it. It is as it is and it's bad.

As an artist, Build's voice will be more and more important (specially because he is great actor), so I think we can support the path he's taking, but musn't justify his past action as "mistakes". This way, Build can be a great artist AND a great human too.

I'm happy about Boc statement too, I start to like this company a lot :)
