why do i feel like apart from the amazing meteor garden cdrama, Dylan Wang can't make any other drama interesting anymore. His drama ratings are so low, and i remember watching one episode of him new drama (i was excited about) ended up dropping it within 2 minutes in. Now i feel like his just not good for any xianxia or wuxia dramas :?
Like imagine if esther was making this drama with Xukai :DD omg the story and everything with them in it would have got me so much more intrigued!!
Obviously no hate on Dylan Wang, i loved him in meteor garden.

noooo who would hate esther!? she is legit my favourite female actress and celeb. Her drama Moonlight is the best cdrama i've ever seen, the production, story and everything is like 10/10. I didn't see any mistakes or camera shot errors throughout the whole drama and that usually happens to alot of cdramas even Ancient Love Poetry. Esther helped the director in a lot of scenes including kiss scenes because she is quite a professional as she watches alot of kdrama. She is still learning like many other actors and actresses but so far all her dramas are really good.. If people don't like her, you just don't like her personality, than thats your problem ://

when i say it can’t compare with kdrama and american films i dont mean it that way. i’ve just always seem to notice the mistakes in the dramas i’ve watched. I love Ancient Love Poetry, the story and everything is great in general but i have noticed there were close up shots that didnt go well, and they didn’t fix it but made it a final scene. This goes to many other dramas. All im saying is Chinese “production” isn’t the best. They don’t fix the little mistakes which is why kdramas seems to be alot popular. (pls dont say anything related to “well ppl make mistakes” yes we all do, but if the Chinese film industry want to get a hit globally, the finalised film or drama must be seen perfect to the eyes of the audience. Chinese CGI obviously can’t compare with American films. Ancient love poetry is great and one of the best CGI we’ve seen so far but what im tryna say is not that i look down on the Chinese Film industry, all ik saying is they will have to improve alot in their works.

Look i agree with u in alot of what u said. I am a XuKai fan myself. I’ve started watching cdramas for 5 years and because i used to live in China, i met the actress YangMi and other actresses and actors like DengChao. I consider myself to know alot abt china’s top celebrities and acting. As a chinese person i will just let ppl know that its celebrity circle is really dropping. The production is failing as well. Top actors in china like Kris Wu is under investigation for rape, Actress Angela baby no longer receives contracts to films cus her acting is really bad, that she had to go to korea to find opportunities. In one of my earlier comments, i talked abt YangMi. I said stuff that probably offended ppl becus they are probably a fan or is just sensitive in general hearing opinions that is against the actor/actress.
This is my last time repeating myself here so those ppl will have to read it off here. I dont hate YangMi. Pls stop with the haters gon hate. Or the i dare u to say it on weibo. First off, what is there to hate abt her? She is just an actress doing her job. She is popular because she’s seen in alot of popular dramas. Popularity takes time not always because they are special. I said from my opinion that she likely had plastic surgery and i say this becus i’ve seen pictures of her from before and now, and her nose is just not natural for an asian. Everyone in china knows. And its normal. Literally take this in pls. Chinese ppl comment on celebrities appearence alot; if they had surgery, if they are a natural and its almost normalised in China. Its not a big deal. I said from watching this drama’s trailer that her voice scared me for a sec. Its true. my ears sent a message to my brain and said that. But ppl, its 2021. Ppl have opinions and if its not gonna impact the actress than just let it go. I usually respond to ppl with different opinions like, “i respect ur opinions”. This is what the comments are made for. To share opinions and thoughts to the drama. People need to stop beinging so against ppl like me who just didnt like certain things or find something weird. I personally dont watch YangMi’s dramas. But THAT DOES NOT mean im new in dramas. I’ve only watched a few u stated above. in fact i watched enough to say i acn easily tell what dramas will be popular and what wont. Chinese dramas and films will never compare with kdramas or american films. Chinas’s film-making really is not the best. I say these as facts. Everyone in China knows. But me and all of u reading this i believe watches cdramas and enjoys its which is a good thing!! We should continue to support the actors we like. Pls just learn to ignore certain comments than making a big deal out of it. And yes these actors and actresses has alot of followers on weibo but that is also because they are “celebrities”. I say this again. My past comments on YangMi is NOT a hate comment. Know the difference. If she didn’t do something terribly bad like Kris Wu, there is nothing to hate abt?? I just found her voice unusual to Me personally? If it doesn’t to u than good for u.. rlly. I still really look forward to this drama with XuKai and her acting skills. Hopefully it makes a hit in China again like Ancient Love Poetry.

Oh pls- what is there to hate about her?? Sorry but im not a new cdrama fan :/ I dont want to start anything here. It was really just an opinion and a fact. I did say i was also looking forward to this drama, but everyone just know more about Yangmi. I was talking about plastic surgery, therefore i brought Angela baby to the discussion. If you didn’t know maybe because you’re not from China. Then i’ll let you know that Angela baby used to be famous and she looked very natural but she got her face done and not only that, she no longer received any contracts with directors because her acting was really bad. Now, YangMi from my opinion did get her face done, and as a joke (like literally no hate, i havent said i hated her at all) i only just watched the trailer and i heard her voice, as a joke she really did scare me for a sec. And that’s basically all i said :/

well i dont hate her. And alot of people have their opinions. Not everyone likes certain actors/actresses and that should be allowed. All the chinese people knows straight off from looking at her face that she had plastic surgery. And thats quite common in China and Korea. Angela Baby is also one of them. I am personally chinese and i have met the actress of this drama once when i was in China. I never said i hated her. So sorry if i just know more abt the actress than u :/

Honestly, i am pretty happy with the ending. I know a lot of people probably will complain that they weren't satisfied, and i can understand, because we all wanted an extended ending with BaiJue, ShangGu and YuanQi together. But i feel like this would be the best ending after so much has happened in the story, and we get to imagine the rest of their happy reunited life.
The "ShangGu, i am BaiJue" and the hug was enough to warm my heart, and i don't feel as much as disappointed. I honestly think if the ending was a full one it would feel like reading a complete book done and dusted, and i guess i don't have much thoughts over the drama knowing that the ending was a good one, everyone happy, and we see every expected scene after BaiJue returned. I hope this made sense to people out there who are quite upset abt the ending, and try and think of the ending as something we can reflect on after everything BaiJue and ShangGu has went through to finally see eachother with a smile on their faces, and ends like that.

Yes Wuhuan warns JingZhao to keep an eye on BaiJue cus she knows it can't be that easy for BaiJue to forget about Shanggu and marries her daughter. But WuHuan wanted JingZhao to marry BaiJue so she can have the title. Which was wife of BaiJue or something related like wife of a god. JingZhao only ever loved QingMu, but the feeling of being with BaiJue is more like having the position and status and winning over HouChi, because they both grew up together and they always compete with eachother, so its a good feeling for JingZhao that now HouChi is hurt because BaiJue/QingMu divorced HouChi and married JingZhao.

Yes, but ShangGu's child will have to take the position one day, like every ancient chinese drama, The emperor will one day give his position to his son to be the next emperor. That does not mean Baijue and ShangGu are not true gods or gods anymore, they simply can just let their son take over and bring peace to the realm, and they live their life.
Thats just how it is. And i'm very happy about it.
