I remember watching this back then when it aired and I actually liked it just okay. I was younger though, and there still wasn't that many BLs to choose from and the standards were lower. I watched everything I found and liked almost every single BL that was out there. So, if you've seen a lot of masterpieces that have come out during the recent years, this probably won't be that good for you.
Is this how toxic? I remember starting this but dropping because of lying or something like that but it's already been years so I'm not too sure. Small spoilers from the beginning are fine!
The whole series was such a pleasant surprise for me. I didn't know anything about anything beforehand and just jumped right in. Nothing to complain about, very decent and enjoyable. 9/10.
Would also recommend The Sign and Khemjira, they both have similar vibes with this and are one of my fav dramas :))
okay but they were really so f sweet in ep 7. Phoon was extra cute the whole episode and Fah extra fine, especially during the Japan trip skskskskongnibu I was smiling like an idiot the whole time
What's with the step-brother addiction in Chinese and Taiwanese BLs?? ðŸ˜
No but, this was actually very beautiful. Poetic in a beautiful way and the I loved the family relationships, they were realistic but very touching. Jiang Tian is such a fine man (I swear I couldn't take my eyes off him every time he was on the screen). They were young and clearly inexperienced in life but they weren't completely unreasonable. Jiang Tian held some real fondness for Sheng Wang, and even when he was hurt or mad, he still showed that he cared.
It wasn't perfect though. I had a bad feeling towards the end, and it was left with an open (but hopeful) ending (but luckily not as bad as I started to anticipate at some point). The matter with Jiang Tian's dad and the relationship between both of the couples were left without a closure which I would've really loved to see. To be honest, this would be quite near of perfection if there was a second season but apparently we're not going to get one so I really wish they had added like three more episodes and solved these points slow and nice.
Honestly, this was pretty good, I'm very pleasantly surprised. The first few episodes were quite ridiculous (but…
MAJOR SPOILER!!! Also, I was so ready to bawl my eyes out if Thorn (by the way, is Thorn a common name in Thai? I feel like I see it everywhere) didn't get back to Apo's original body buttt lucky me... Even though Apo wasn't the nicest person (and I would probably hate a person like him in real life), I still felt bad for him and hope he got to have his happy ending somewhere as well :( <3
Honestly, this was pretty good, I'm very pleasantly surprised. The first few episodes were quite ridiculous (but I personally liked them) but after that it was quite decent. It was a bit chaotic but not too much and not too messy or confusing either. Both couples were pretty sweet and I was swayed by Ya so much because WHAT A MAN. Where is my Ya? Also, Chan (Janjak??? (I swear his name was Chan in the subtitles???) but Ya's younger brother) has such a sad/pouty resting face??? Butler Francois was also quite funny of a character even though I usually don't like that kind of characters. (Maybe Me and Thee has changed something significant in me and ridiculousness doesn't ridicule me as strongly anymore)
Should I watch this or not? I tried before and didn't get even halfway the first episode. I loved The Sign and absolutely adore BillyBabe and would really want to watch this for them but I just felt the story was not something I'd find interesting and it was so 😫

Overall, would give this 9.5/10
Would recommend, giving it a solid 8/10.
(Also, we really need an AouBoom series)
