+1You either write a thriller properly or you don't, the whole mixing genre was stupidTo think they get money…
🤌🤣
On Link: Eat, Love, Kill Jul 27, 2022
I invested too much time watching the first seven episodes, which were decent, that I was compelled to finish it. Very below average 2nd half. Probably finished it in 1 hour. Also, people saying the intentions of the killer aren't important to the story line, ya'll should just stick to watching rom coms. The writers didn't even try to justify the kidnapping and murder. Such lazy writing.

Guys can we appreciate Park Myung Seok's character development :'). They usually make the chairman's son bratty, someone who is pure evil, and a potential murder. So, I am glad with what they did to him

Title Eve Spoiler
Rant.. Spoilers, please do not read if you haven't seen the show

It started out great. But the last couple of episodes were just tragic!

PBE's character is supposed to be the main lead. He is supposed to shine but most of the times he seems invisible and more like a side character. He should have been written as someone with a lot of warmth and love *cough SEP cough*. which would have made sense for the female lead to fall in love with him. The main leads have zero chemistry because of their stoic expressions though out the drama. I don't think I have seen worse chemistry between two main leads.
Also, I feel bad for Han So Ra. She is the by-product of her fathers wrong doings. I mean if you are rich and powerful with a father who does heinous things then I am pretty sure you'd be fucked up in the head. That's probably the testament of her acting.
Seo Ye Ji needs to stop playing the same kind of character. 'The border line crazy, depressed girl'.
Lastly, only finished it for Lee Sang Yeob. People aren't talking about him. Why?

PS-If Ye Ji and LSY do a drama together as main leads, their chemistry would be fire!!

The main leads had zero chemistry. Also, Min Ho, Ji Min, Ha Neul all three of them deserved better. Honestly did not like Joo Ahh, she was so annoying. Though all characters were stereotypical, Hye Soo's character was so boring. She just irritated me the moment she came on screen.
Soo many black and white characters and lazy writing 'don't know how to take the story forward just make the supporting characters bad'. Thank god at least there was one likeable couple- Mok Jin and Young. Also, what was with calling mok jin "not handsome". Like dudes better looking than most of the population.
PS- On another note Bae Hyun Sung is Park Bo Gum lite. He looks so much like a younger version of Bo Gum.

He's the 🐐. The production teams want him and offered him the role.
Lol being a GOAT does not make him look any younger. And the character is supposed to be way younger.

On Love All Play Jun 9, 2022
Its not a sports drama. Its a light hearted rom com with a simple plot. I thought I would compare it a lot with racket boys as it was a really good badminton show but I didn't because they are completely different genres. I think I enjoyed this a lot more because this is exactly what I wanted to watch for a long time. It's fun and bingeable but what annoyed be the most about this show is the female lead. God! why is she so sad through out the entire show always wallowing in self pity. Also, the badminton shots aren't that great. Other than that it was a good one time watch.
On another note, I expected the comments to be a lot more positive. Especially for the fact that people were going insane for business proposal, but they are pretty neutral. Maybe because this is not that popular. *shrug*
Anyway, .5 extra for the second lead couple. They were sooo cutee! <3
On Let Me Be Your Knight May 31, 2022
I t was good in the first half then it got boring. The story was a cliche, nothing new. I really like Jun but the main lead lacked personality and was such so boring, stereotypical. The main leads had zero chemistry. She should have ended up with the second lead. The chemistry between the boys was great. It actually felt like an actual boy band. The second leads I liked better. The highlight of the drama are the songs though. Amazing songs.
On The King of Pigs May 23, 2022
The show grips you from the very beginning. It really keeps you engaged, not at all draggy. The drama really makes you question your moral compass. You feel little empathy with the victims even though they are brutally murdered. Real nice story with great twists. Though you can see the main twist coming if you watch it carefully. One thing I didn't like about the show is how creepy they have made Kim Chul, especially the cat part. That made me feel disconnected with the character and not mourn for him.

Title Reply 1988
**SPOILER**

I have never watched a Kdrama twice, except this one. I don't know how many times have I watched this show, probably 5 times. I love it soo much. I think the most important reason I love this show is because of the background music. It has the best old tunes and nostalgic songs.(not Korean still feels nostalgic.)

I have always been team Taeki. The first time I saw the drama I skipped some of Jung Hwan's parts because I wanted it to be Taeki. The more times I saw the show, more I empathized with JH. But still I was always team taeki that is until I saw the drama 'lost' last year. Man! Ryu Joon Yeol in lost is just *chefs kiss*! Anyway, so after watching that show when I decided to watch 1988 again I saw lot more of JH. I observed him much more. Watching him and trying to root for him made me sooo sad and angry! Like boy what are you doing run after her tell her that the pink shirt is not the same pink shirt. Lend her the damn coat what are you thinking so hard for. Stop hesitating go and fucking console her. The reason he states in the end is the perfect reason why he never gets her, and he knows it well. As a viewer you see all his hesitations. As he rightly says destiny is not a sudden big coincidence but small small deliberate moves taken to make it seem like fate. Every time JH faltered Taeki was right there as her support. The little steps Choi Taek took towards her is the reason why he stands like her fate, in the end, in front of the concert hall. By the end of episode 17 you could tell she had started liking Taeki little little. (This time not because her friends told her)
JH confession is so sad. Damn! I cried hard. She knew he wasn't acting. But both of them realized it was too late for it.

I swear JH made me so mad watching him hurt himself and DS.

Also, people saying they changed the husband that's so not true. The personality aside (which is natural to change over a period of time between couples), every single thing screams the husband is Taeki. The most obvious one being the husband is left handed from episode 2. Every other hint can be manipulated like smoking, manhwa reading, the smiling in photo. But the one fact which would have been very difficult to explain if the husband was JH is why is the husband left handed when Jungpal was right handed.

In the end I'll always be #TeamTaeki. Not because I want him to be the husband but because I see Jung Hwan's shortcomings.
On Meet Me after School Apr 18, 2022
How are the main leads in "love"? They don't know the first thing about one another. They have hardly spent any time together over the span of 8years to actually know about each other. The only emotion Akira emotes is infatuation or border line obsession. Also, Hijiri was head over heals for her fiance in the first 3 episodes. What suddenly changed? They were so cute in the beginning. Until she out of nowhere falls in love with a 15 year old boy? One episode she isn't in love with Akira and in the next episode she is?
The kiss between a 15yr old and 25yr old was just not it. So creepy...
Also, Ritsu deserved better than the crappy story line they gave her. She was my favorite character. I was rooting for Shoutarou and her, until they decided to mess that up as well... I mean Shoutarou was literally like my ex finance isn't taking me back and I have already knocked up the side chick. Then might as well stick with her then...
Lol the real show should start from where it ended. With them realizing that they in fact didn't know anything about each other and actually have zero compatibility.
