I understand that popular drama's are a little overrated on mydramalist. But 9 is a little too much for this drama. 8.3, 8.4 would make sense... I mean it has the same rating as 'twenty-five twenty one'. The rating might fall once the drama ends but the rating is crazy high. Hence it does feel a little disappointing. If you ignore the insane high ratings then I think its a little above average fun rom-com. It has major 2016-18 drama vibes. It absolutely doesn't make sense at some points like the ending of episode 11. Bro, did you forget his hand injury? Anyway, its not that great but I think its the funniest show I have seen this year. I'd give it an 8/10 just for the light hearted comic relief.
Edit: Man! many of you took it veryyyy personally haa! XD
I really liked the first episode. Please don't end up like pride *fingers crossed*
Update: It was way better than pride. Yamaguchi Tomoko's character is so fun and so not the "typical" shy Asian character. She was bold, beautiful and smart. We need more characters like her... Every time Kimura Takuya came on screen my heart just went aww. I mean he looked good in pride but in this show he looks a little extra loveable... One of my favorite J dramas so far.
Man! Aki was so annoying! I really did not want them to end up together. The first 6-7 episodes were v cute, a…
The only justifiable reason for Aki to be that pathetic is that the show is 18 years old and everyone wanted the 'poor pitiful female lead'. This would not work in 2022. She needed to be dumped by the physically abusive "fiance" to actually move on. If they would have had a strong and smart female lead, it would have probably been one of my most favorite romantic drama.
Man! Aki was so annoying! I really did not want them to end up together. The first 6-7 episodes were v cute, a solid 8. But after that it goes down hill real quick. Would have given it a 4 if not for Halu. Overall a reluctant 6.5.
Just saw the first episode. Man, the younger sister is so annoying. Hope there is character development over the next few episodes or else I am dropping it! -_-
I did not like the way it ended. I wanted all four of them to go their separate ways, find happiness while remaining friends. Way to idealistic, cotton candy/fluff kinda ending. It should have been more about new beginnings instead of going back to the old chapter. If the ending was more realistic it would have been a solid 8.4/10. But since it ended the way it did I'd give it a 7.75/10.
Vikrant Massey and Pankaj Tripathi were phenomenal in Criminal Justice. With all due respect there's no way Kim Soo Hyun could have done better than Vikrant. Also Pankaj Tripathi is a legend. Hence, I am not sure whether to watch this or not. Desi fans shed some light please!?
how would know ..there are still so many dramas to watch …the year is long;) But of of the best…I agree on…
Idk but I have a feeling nothing is gonna top this. Maybe also because there weren't many great romantic dramas last year. The only one I liked was dali and cocky prince and Hometown wasn't bad! Lets hope my words deceive me and we get better rom coms this year! :)
I think this is going to be my favorite rom com of 2022 and will be in the top 10 dramas of 2022! I love the entire vibe of the drama. It really feels like summer.
Its a visual treat. The colors, the clothes, cinematography, music just stunning. Unlike most historic dramas the costume and hair feel very detailed and quiet accurate to history. Its pretty underrated compared to a lot of high rated historic dramas. It does get boring sometimes but it keeps you engaged throughout the 70 episodes. You have to watch the entire show carefully without skipping there aren't a lot of fillers and most of what's happening is important to the plot. The ending does feel a little rushed but it still manages to be one of the best historic c-dramas I have seen.
You also need to learn that if someone is criticizing the acting they might actually have not liked it. I think…
But Darling when you say "in my opinion" you are giving the other person room to disagree with you however if you don't it turns into an arrogant statement.
