Is this drama good? It has high ratings but a lot of the comments are negative. Plus a lot of shows which came out this year have a high rating but are pretty mediocre. Not sure if I wanna watch this

I can't believe they went with 'player boy turns good because he finds the love of his life' trope. I genuinely think that PJE's sincere. I mean ya, for once, he is finally shown being properly toxic, but they made him fall in love with her which automatically makes viewers(including me) sympathetic to his character(especially with a face like SK's). *sigh*. Should have stuck with the webtoon's PJE.
Do hyuk's still the sweetest but him and Na-bi have no chemistry. Nabi only thinks of him as a friend. I don't understand why do hyuk's so in love with her! I am hoping he'd realize she ain't worth it and just moves on without begging her to love him. At this point, I am so done with the side characters as well. I am glad sol and kyu hyun are happy but bit na and ji wan are just so immature and annoying (especially bit na). The only sane relationship is of the seniors but honestly their relationship adds nothing extra or special to the show. I think(or hope) she won't end up with anyone. I hope they show her in the future, like 5 years later, with a third guy who she is madly in love with and vice versa.

This show is the only thing I look forward to on Thursdays. Its really fascinating how every episode manages to make me laugh and cry. Episode 8 was definitely the best episode till now. Today's episode was around parents so I loved how they tied it up perfectly by making jung won's mom play the piano. One of the only shows where I'm invested in everyone's love lines, none of them are boring. I am dying to know what does ik jun see in ik sun's mobile. When Jun wan turned in the bus, kyung ho's expression's were on point. Also, min ah crying was hilarious. Plus Ik jun is like the sweetesttt! Ahh!! My heart! He is literally the ros in rosgulla! :p

Aww its so cute! A sweet feel good drama. The songs are also so good. They look so adorable. I don't know why but they remind me of Joy and Sung jae from when they were on 'We got married'. Maybe because she looks a little like Joy, and he is shy around Jenny like sung jae was around Joy! LoL!

Its shown how considerate jae eon is towards nabi (or maybe women in general). So ya he is hella attractive, charming, caring, handsome, good in bed. As for PJE I think in the beginning she was his next conquest but I think her rejecting his advances in the beginning made him more intrigued. Also, they have been shown to spend a lot of time together not just f*cking but almost doing everything together. So its natural to develop some kind of feelings. Now we don't know if their feelings are infatuation or real. In reality this relationship would never work but let's see what the drama decides to do.

LOL! are you okay, buddy? Do you hate men so much? You legit manipulated the whole bit na and kyu hyun's story to make him sound like a jerk. First of all, Bit na FIRST hits on him and kisses him. She literally pulls him and kisses him I don't know how it was non-consensual(they were both drunk she herself says that). Then he asks her to date him which she rejects so he decides to move on by going on a date which she rudely interrupts because of her jealousy. She's been shown throwing tantrums about how he is dating the other girl. When he comes to pick her up she is crying about how he so easily moved on from her. She literally shown being jealous about him being with the girl when he comes to pick her up and so its pretty clear throughout the episodes that she wants him. Relationship by nature are always monogamous unless they decide against it. Yet, after throwing so much tantrum , when they start dating she hides their relationship keeps seeing other men. So I don't know who the victim here is. About Ji wan, I just said if a man did what she is doing everyone would be pressed. Literally going on dates with other boys yet being constantly jealous begging her to not hang out with anyone else except her. Immaturely giving mixed signals breaking sol's heart in the process. Lastly where did Love alarm 2 come from? For f*cks sake I haven't even seen Love alarm let alone Love alarm 2! So I don't know what your delusional self is talking about!

Fo sho! I do not want do hyuk anywhere near the toxicity. I mean ya PJE isn't totally innocent but some of the comments are way too harsh on him.

Oh My God! People need to stop hating on PJE. I don't like jae eon either but he isn't that manipulative or a stalker or an absolute scumbag. His lifestyle is different but he has never lied to na-bi about anything he has always told her he wants a casual relationship. Of course he knows na-bi wants more and he isn't sure if he can give her more but that's also na-bi's fault for not telling him to bugger off. Also the double standards for bit-na and PJE. Y'all are fine with what bit na's doing with kyu hyun but y'all make jae eon look like an absolute douche.

Ji wan is hella toxic though. If it was a guy doing what ji wans doing all of us would be supper pissed.

oh oh I like this. Everyone's complaining too much about na-bi. I mean ya she is annoying everyone but this makes sense. Even about others it seems very in-tune with the shows title.

Though cheating is never a good thing but that doesn't mean you take away someone's bread and butter for that. His career had just started. This scandal's gonna affect his life, its probably gonna take away many of his future job prospects, and you're "happy"?

Damn! Let Na-bi stay in the mess with PJE. For his own sake, I do not want YDH to end up with her. I don't want her to use him as a rebound or consolation. I love SK but I just can't with his character. Though PJE did almost seem sincere in this episode, don't know if it'll will last. Also, the sexual tension from previous episodes which made their relationship spicy, is gone, like its just dead. Apart from YDH the side characters are the sole reason what's keeping the show up float. I am more invested in bit na and kyu hyun. Bit na is such biatch she's worse than PJE. Kyu hyun deserves better. Also, Kim min gwi deserves better. His is one of the only plot line which has my interest. Can't believe they are ready to cut out his role and his career just because of personal life choices. If he did violate COVID rules he should be fined for it or punished according to the law. About cheating, it's a shitty thing to do but that doesn't mean man needs to get his entire life destroyed for that. He has just started his career for fuck's sake!

I always wondered why hasn't there been a story exploring the BTS of kpop world cause there's content enough to make at least 2 seasons. So when I heard about this show I was quiet excited but the execution was quiet poor. Starting with Jung ji so, she doesn't look like a kpop idol. Not trying to be rude, I mean she isn't ugly or anything but she isn't "the idol beauty". I don't know why didn't they take an actual idol for her role. Also what was with her hair? It looked like a really bad wig. The chemistry between the main leads was so bad that I just wished the show would focus more on the idol life than their romance. I wanted to know more about the other idols but it kept revolving around the main couple. I don't think they showed what actually goes on in the idols mind when their numbers get leaked, when fans camp outside their hotel rooms, or when the fans go on strike because of romance rumors. They just brushed over it, maybe being mindful of the fans. Speaking of main leads, I liked lee jun young's acting though his character didn't have alot of substance especially in the first few episodes, he feels like Kim Young Dae from extraordinary you. Other actors were fine except Im na young, her acting was painful to watch. The only plot line I liked was of chani. The tribute in the end was touching. Overall meh finished it in few hours.

I was thinking about why had they shown the pencil rolling but what you said totally makes sense, about their relationship. Also, so true there are hardly ever any do hyuk's to rely on in real life.

I think because I know how anxious guys like PJE can make you feel, I really could care less for song kang's character. The scene which sums up na bi's feelings the best is the bit where she is walking back to the bicycle and she sees do hyuk with another girl and her eyes go back and forth between them its as if she's saying I was trying to hide away from PJE but turns out you're just like him. I still think Do hyuk's too good for her. About the other characters I feel like ji wan knows sol likes her but doesn't want to accept the fact she also likes sol romantically which makes her slightly annoying because she keeps leading sol on. Lastly, bit-na, she is literally worse than PJE...let kyu hyun go, don't string him along... he is my favorite character after do hyuk...!

I haven't seen when I was the prettiest but I enjoyed the first two seasons Penthouse series, its the perfect kind of trash. The first episode of season 3 was absurd and illogical yet I still might watch it after it gets over. The show's like gossip girl soo bad yet I saw the whole thing. About rom coms, I do enjoy them some of my favorite ones are the mid 2010 dramas, like oh my venus and emergency couple.
PS- My favorite current actors are lee je-hoon, lee jae wook, lee do hyun, moon ga young and shin se kyung. (:

I liked this drama. It had me hooked. It did get a little boring in the middle but still very entertaining. I think this is one of Park min young's finest performances, though the character does feel a little too naive at times....The king was very pitiful especially in the ending. He does alot of nasty stuff but you can't help sympathize with him. Yeon woo jin's reaction to chae kyung purposely burning herself was so heartbreaking. Though I usually don't like the whole childhood sweethearts trope but the actors had great chemistry, you could feel the essence of innocent first love. Baek Seung Hwan, who played the young prince yeok was my favorite actor in the drama. He has so much potential. Hope we get to see more of him. Overall a heart breaking yet wholesome drama.

Haha! ya my list is a little bit on the heavy drama and emotional side. I do enjoy rom coms but they usually don't end up on my top list. I have yet to watch any Chinese or Japanese dramas. I tried to watch a Chinese drama but because of change in language (I do understand quite abit of the korean without subs) it did get a bit trippy so I dropped it. But hey do suggest me one or two C or J dramas I might watch it someday.

Lol! Our choices are very different! IOTNBO is in my top 3 and I really disliked backstreet rookie.... oh well!
