Hmmm yes calling it mediocre wouldn't be right. But if she does end up with jae eon I think that would be a cliché making it nothing special. I do agree jae eon and nabi do have great chemistry. People get married at 25!!! Anyway good talk.

I feel like the reason why most of the people were attracted to the drama was because it gave a sense of reality if you remove that aspect it becomes every other mediocre kdrama.
Just because fboys like sex doesn't mean they have a shit personality. I feel like fboys can have amazing personalities but they won't settle for a single woman(and thats ok until everything is consensual). That's the same vibe I get from PJE. Hence, though PJE is charming he doesn't seem like a guy who'd settle for anyone, whereas nabis looking for a guy to love not lust. Been with a guy like PJE who is kafi likeable and genuinely nice but will not settle for a single woman.
Though do hyuk can't be defined as nice he can't also be called boring.
Anyway this is a never ending conversation we both have clearly different expectations and opinions about the show and both our opinions are valid

though I haven't read the webtoon but from what I have gathered jae eon is supposed to be a total fuck boy so if they change the story it would mean fboy turning good. When I first started watching I was very pleasantly surprised because there are so many girls who are looking for love end up with guys who make you feel special but in the end all they want is sex. I loved the fact the she knows he is a fuck boy yet she is attracted to him thinking he would love her someday. Such concepts show reality which are hardly done in dramas so it was refreshing. So now if he falls in love with her and they live happily ever after it would just be a cliché and far from the reality vibe it gave off in the beginning. bruh! do hyuk had a total of 10 mins of screen time in the past 2 episodes and he is already branded as boring? what even? No wonder the stereotype of nice guys don't get a chance because they are labeled "boring" whereas we love fboys because they give us the "dopamine" rush.
I feel like the writers are trying to sugar coat the fact that he is a fuck boy, like they could drop the bomb of it was all a big misunderstanding and Jae eon is actually a sweetheart and the viewers will just have to nod their heads and be like yeah makes sense. Through out the show till now they haven't given a definite clue of him being fuckboy except for baseless rumors, seol-a; who he doesn't seem intimate with, and the girl who's brother beats PJE. The girl literally said that, my brother had some "misunderstanding" about us. I hope they don't use the uno reverse card and make him the good guy who he is perceived negatively. I would be so disappointed in the writers if they pull such BS.

As much as ratings aren't everything I do tend to not watch shows below 8 because, except for one or two, they are usually actually really bad so do recommend me some drama which has a low rating but is actually really good. Also out of curiosity which higher rated dramas did you think weren't the hype?
I did not watch this drama for the longest time because its rated 6.8 on imdb. The show is so underrated. 6.8 just doesn't make sense to me can some explain why is it rated so low on imdb. The ending is a little cliche and underwhelming but the stories are genuinely heart warming and sweet. Its an 8/10 for me.

Lee dam's mother made an appearance? Man! I skipped some stuff because I wanted to finish the story. I liked sun woo not his character but bae in hyuk so I'm glad his handsome face exists in the show could have given him a better plot. I feel like the drama lacked substance like no definite plot. Both doom at your service and this show are exact same plots with little changes though both of them aren't extraordinary I do feel like the execution of DAYS is a little better. I understand that its not that bad of a drama but the drama is definitely not an 8.5(my opinion). There are so many lesser rated dramas which are way better.
I have an idea about how the webtoon is ending since its already spoilt in the comment section but many are saying that the plot is diverging from the webtoon. I am really hoping that they don't change the ending. Also hoping that they don't give PJE some kind of redemption like a tragic backstory to make up for him being a fuck boy. Some boys are fuckboys just because they wanna be and being a fuck boy doesnt necessarily mean being a bad person if everything is consensual then you do you. Also kyu hyun has the totaly bad guy vibes but he is such a softie ^-^. Bit na better not mess with him. Do hyun is cute as always hope he gets more screen time and doesn't get hurt/ turned into the bad guy.
meh! the show was meh for me. IDK why so many people liked it but it was just bearable for me. Many of them looked too old to be in college. The last two episodes felt like forever. The second couple I really liked. Could have given more screen time to dam's brother, sun woo's sister and there storyline would have been funny. overall Cliché plot, average execution. I don't understand the hype.
An underrated show. One of the rare healthy relationships in kdrama world. The leads have great chemistry. The characters are very grey and realistic . The female lead isn't someone who makes everything right or someone who doesn't fail constantly but she keeps trying to bring little changes. The main lead is cute and awkward. We love a man who isn't shy of letting his woman take the lead. A perfect balance between romance and political drama. Overall a great one time watch.
