The synopsis in kiss.sh never mentioned age. Later, when Lusi became more popular that I started to read and also join MDL forums and get detailed backgrounds on her dramas.

I love the storyline in the novel. Simple and sweet yet it has humor, some angst and family drama. No 2nd ML male or female and therefore no love triangle. And another plus, the female lead is not dumb and neither down on her luck. I'm sick and tired of dumb female leads who have the worst luck in the world. Then they'd dress her up like a helper and curl her hair and when ML meets her, she gets a make over! I'm glad, in this drama, FL is decisive and smart and knows what she wants to do with her life. Lusi and CZY make a great pair and they suit the characters perfectly.

I didn't think that the age gap was that huge. But the drama was really good. Despite the age gap, the main leads oozed great chemistry on-screen. I enjoyed the drama so much that I even re watched it while waiting for another Lusi drama.

I saw in twitter several times already that it's been changed to 30 episodes not 24. Is it just a rumor? Why still 24 eps in MDL?

From the reuters leaked vids and photos, they're following the source material. I'm not worried about Lusi being cringey. She's the type of artist who can make cringey and cliche scripts seem sweet and adorable. I'm pretty sure CZY will be the same.

It's exactly as the way you described it LOL! I had to drop it halfway through ep 2. I just can't keep at it. The FL dumbness is too cliche and the mom/dad pushing their daughter just bec the ML is the only heir to a huge conglomerate is the same old plot. I wanted to watch it for Liu Te but not even him could make me watch the rest of the episodes.

I get it. I picked this drama, too bec of FL and ML who I watched separately before in their previous respective dramas. They were great in them. But this, after eps 8, I just couldn't keep at it anymore. Some scenes were just too fantastical for me and SY was the same old SY. It's like the same romcom from the past but different ML. I love fluffy romcom but please, not too fantastical just to make the drama sweet and fluffy. I'm not too good at expressing my thoughts but I like your insights. Maybe i'll pick this up again when I have too much time to kill in the future.

I feel like Lusi's chemistry with each succeeding ML gets better each time. I'm pretty sure that this CP will be another hit when the drama airs. Even if the script sucks which I hope not, I'm still gonna watch this drama for Lusi and CZY chemistry! Their off-screen interactions (from reuters) alone is something to look forward to while waiting for this to air.
