I think novel can support 30 episodes. If they stick very close to the novel it is very possible. I wish they'd stick close to the novel. There are so many heartwarming scenes between the leads.

I am in between dramas and was considering watching this. But thanks to your comments, I feel justified why I didn't pick this up in the first place even though Luo Yun Xi is the ML. He's an awesome and great actor but the FL! I watched her with Xu Kai in FIYS. It's popular and a hit mainly bec of ML and the drama is sweet and fluffy it doesn't need deep emotions for the characters. In other words, the visuals were awesome! But the plot of LTL involves a spectrum of emotions from the leads and ML is capable of that. Not so much FL. I watched her in My Heart and she hasn't improved. She has the visuals yes, but she needs to get serious with her acting! Or maybe choose just fluffy and sweet romcoms where FL just needs to be cute and pretty.

Definitely! I love seeing her fmv and reuters photos/vids. She's so lively and hyperactive 😂😂😂 she makes me feel so old. But it's great to see someone with a zest for life even though there are many cnetz criticising her. So many ppl are capitalizing on her popularity by creating fake news and vids. I stopped checking out youtube vids bec there are so many fmv with many unfounded and misleading claims.

Agree. If the scriptwriter, producer and director really stay true to the novel, it will need more than just 24 episodes to show a better picture of their character and relationship growth.

😅😅 They're the best CP I've seen in drama land! Unless Lusi surprise us with her new dramas scheduled to air next year??? Because at first in WRTW, YY-ZL pairing is incomparable. I was wrong. When I saw ZL-WL pairing, it was even more awesome. The chemistry between them is sizzling!!! I'm reserving judgment for our girl. Maybe the next pairing will be explosive chemistry??? 😅❤️

Yup. This drama is already phenomenal for me. Yes it's not perfect with a few loopholes and plot holes here and there. But still, compared to other C-drama, LLTG is way, way better in terms of directing, cinematography, OST, casting, etc. Lusi did a great job portraying the FL and Leo, too. They both deserve the best actress and best actor award. I hate dramas that last for more than 40 episodes but I found every single episode of LLTG not draggy at all. I love it that the conflicts and villains were dealt with pretty fast. I just wished they showed us more sweet moments between the CP not to mention their wedding! Still for me, this drama deserves a 10/10!

Yes, that's my theory, too. I think Director Fei and producer will want Netflix to pick it up and will re edit the drama for Netflix. Whatever is the outcome, I will still re watch LLTG. Maybe WRTW too since I can't focus on any drama until now.

Probably better not to have such high expectations. But I think there's a good chance that it might happen. How many weeks has it been since the drama ended? And it's still going strong until now. And Netflix hasn't even picked it up yet.

SZ was still a middle schooler at the start of the drama so we can't expect romance on this part. It's still an unrequited love until she goes to university when DJX notice how grown up she has become since they've last met. I saw a reuters vid where they were on a rooftop balcony and they hugged🥰💕😍🤩
