I loved the novel even though the age gap was 7 years old. It isn't really much for me. Girls generally mature earlier than guys so at some point, as long as the age gap is not more than 10 years, the couple's emotional and social maturity catches up with each other. I loved how SZ's one-sided crush evolved and how she tried to keep it a secret for so long. I guess I still believe in fairy tales bec I simply swooned when her wish came true in the end.

Since the age gap has been lessened to 3 years, most likely SZ is in late middle school or early junior high school while DJX maybe in 2nd year of university. About 2 years later he graduated and moved back to his city while SZ takes about another 2 years to graduate in high school. Anyway, it's not a big issue for me. Just the chemistry that ZL and CZY generates is more than enough to convince me to watch the drama!

LOL ...... the gorgeousness of GY helped me power through the drama! Anyway, i've jumped ship a long time ago. Now i'm shipping anyone who is paired with Lusi. It's like after each drama, her chemistry with her ML keeps improving and upgrading !!! CZY and ZL together is on a different new level and galaxy with WL. Can't wait to watch this drama. Even if the scriptwriter makes a mess of the story and no matter how many plot holes appear, the gorgeousness of Chen Zheyuan and Zhao Lusi will see me through each episode of the drama!

Agree. DJX developed feelings for her when she went to university and they spent time together. I think his view point started to change when he accidentally kissed her during the time SZ helped him get to the hospital for his appendectomy.

On SZ's part nothing else except her 'admiration' for DJX when she was still in middle school. I understand her falling for someone like DJX at a young age. But then it's just a crush I believe. DJX though has 'something else' happen to his family that made him as he is. After DJX graduation, he moved back to his city and they didn't get to see each other for a few years until SZ moved to his city to study for university. That's the time when SZ's feelings for DJX was re ignited and developed into mature love. She helped DJX untie the knot in his heart. And I think the drama focused more on this part.

The fruit channel's subs twists my brain like pretzels while Youku's subs take too long. I am counting on the drama's popularity to pressure the network to release subs asap, too.

Yes, I think she thought that chapter 55 is the last? But I remember the novel has up to 85 and some extra chapters. I also read the manhua. The last part was when DJX was in the hospital for appendectomy. Not sure when it's going to be updated.

I couldn't keep at it. I love Shen Yue but her roles are all similar it gets old after some time. The script is not engaging enough. I'll just watch the last episodes when CZY aka Wudi is shown with their daughter. A doting dad I can never resist.
