I wouldn't fault NN for her decision to investigate her father's case. That's her character since the beginning of the drama. She would never sit still when there is injustice happening and this time, it's her own kin. How could she just stay and wait? LBY knows this and the Empress. Both understands her character and supported her. I do agree that it was a very dangerous thing to do but what she did is just being consistent with her character.

I love how NN's grandma is consistent throughout the drama. She'd always have a preference for the men in her family and even in the face of near-death, she gave money to NN and told her to save the men first. LOL!

LOL ..... they ganged up on him! They also reminded me of primary students when they're bullying someone! And Wendy just turned a blind eye! I was a bit surprised that YS brazenly supported Gen. Wan's actions. But then when it comes to NN's defense, he's a bit similar to LBY. Reasonable or not, directly or indirectly, he will always come to her defense.

Apart from the CP, I love the emperor and also Consort Yue and the Empress and the Ah brothers and QiQi and NN's father! Can't choose one because there are so many lovable characters in this drama. How about we choose the most evil instead? I think that would be easier! LOL ......

True. The emperor dotes on him so much more than his biological children. I wish that after he reconciles with NN, he will accept and consider Wendy as his father instead of his emperor. Like Consort Yue said to the Empress considering herself as his subject I think that's how LBY also considers himself: a subject of the emperor. I hope he realizes that he is much more than a subject.

Ep 43, my heart was thumping with fright for LBY. My goodness! The fight scenes were executed well I can still feel my heart rate speeding up! For a moment there, I got scared for LBY.

ROFL ........ prepping myself up for the angst then the Mandarin duck wings stole the scene! General truly love NN that he would fight even kill anyone who denies that those are Mandarin duck wings she made!
