From what i've gathered reading the comments on the part 1 forum and translations of the novel in instagram, this drama is actually the story of CSS and her character development which involves her meeting and getting to know 3 men in her life. She had 4 engagements: LY, LBY, YS then LBY again. Her experiences with these men helped her understand how it is to really love someone. Happy ending for sure because LBY will be reunited with CSS. The second time around, their love for each other will be stronger. And i'm guessing, the 5 years separation won't be many episodes (i hope there will be a time skip!). They're the main CP after all so the focus is mostly on them.

LW is a great actor. His eyes speak volumes!

I asked the same question. They said that Yi from LBY and Shang from CSS and fufu means husband and wife in Chinese.

Even Consort Yue defended CSS in the last part of ep 30. She's officially one of my fave characters in the drama apart from our main CP, the emperor, QQ and CSS brothers. Those were her children who stepped out of line but she didn't show partiality and instead chose the righteous way.

True! Each episode gets more exciting, more romantic (and a little darker) and funny at the same time. It's like riding a roller coaster! LOL!

This drama is getting better and better. It's rare that I get engrossed with a drama that is more than 30 episodes. Oftentimes, i'd skip and fast forward scenes. But this drama, I am totally invested with each scene and each episode. LW and ZL and cast and director really did a wonderful job with LLTG!!!

Agree. WL and ZL and the rest of the cast really did a great job here. It's going to be hard to find another drama of the same caliber once LLTG ends.

Maybe so. Each of them currying the favor of those who have power. I'm just glad LBY has such a strong personality he can protect CSS from all those entitled princesses!

LOL ...... most probably LBY told his guards to just follow CSS and watch over her. He probably feels bad for being too controlling.

His character is so refreshing. Usually, the emperors in dramaland are scheming, power-hungry, greedy, etc. But this emperor, i love him! It's so funny how he worries so much over LBY's love life! LOL ....

Wow, ep 28 is part 2 already? That got me confused since the episode count became 30. Thought we were getting extra episodes before part 2. LOL!

ROFL ..... couldn't hold myself upright at the beginning of epi 27. LBY is training CSS brothers and their father couldn't disagree. CSS asking, 'why is Song brother standing upside down on the rock?' LBY on Song, 'we should add another rock tomorrow to strengthen the upper body'.
