They did not add the love triangle, the whole red thread thing is in the webtoon. And I wouldn’t call it a love triangle. More of a device for the whole human transformation thing. Simply collecting human energy from random people have been proven to be not enough. Not enough for a drama to remain interesting as well.
Also sorry to burst the bubble of SL shippers but he really didn't have a chance from the very beginning. So if…
You’re spot on. I’ve read the webtoon and those are exactly my thoughts. I wanted to clear everyone’s expectations on the SML but I thought what the heck let them go through it XP
Not bad so far but why do recent kdramas make the 2nd MLs more interesting than the MLs? And they should've build…
It’s not like they started fawning at each other 2 episodes out. We’re at episode 8 almost halfway and as we can see they are still trying to deal with their respective feelings which for me is understandable. Maybe it’s just me but I think the pacing is just right. This is actually moderately paced considering it’s a fantasy genre.
What I know so far about a Gumiho:-*Mythical fox, not human, no human feelings.*Possesses a red bead.*Can live…
I believe his being allergic to chicken (rooster to be specific) is because of his birth year and him being a male gumiho was some kind of an anomaly. So not all gumihos are vulnerable to roosters.
Some people have issues with the age gap but at this point who can Wooyeo date so that the age difference is not awkward? Even Hyesun is a baby relative to him. LOL. At least they tried to balance the power by making Lee Dam invincible to his magic.
Here is my two cents!!!So he knows how the take marble out right?? The only fear is the person forgetting him…
I don’t think that’s easy to do even realistically speaking. Memories are irreplaceable. It will be so painful to have moments forgotten by someone precious to you. It will be like she met two different people.
Since u have completed the webtoon I have a few questions... Hope u can answer them for me...1. IS the love triangle…
This is all based on the webtoon, so far the drama has been spot-on with the adaptation. 1. Sunwoo will stick around for a while but there’s no love triangle, it’s really one sided since there’s no moment of confusion for Dam at all. 2. Nope. Just a regular dude. 3. Yes 4. I don’t know if you’d call it break-up but they will stay away from each other for a very brief time. Wooyeo will have a noble idiot phase, we can already see traces of that now. Thanks to Dam it won’t take long.
Over its first two weeks this show has already ticked several classic k-drama romcom boxes with lingering hugs,…
I disagree with Dam being childish. She acted just as anyone her age would and she may be inexperienced but she was never childish. Maybe you can specify which of Dam’s actions made her callow? The drunk episode does not count as far as I am concerned. If you say about the way she moves or reacts I think it’s more because of the directing, not her character. Also Hyesun being an airhead. I see her as someone who has challenge linguistically but her logic has never been questionable and she is actually full of of wisdom in a different way from Shin Wooyeo. I agree I did not like the way Wooyeo talks to her sometimes, when all the while he has been listening to her advice which were actually sound if you think about it.
The story later as you will see is more than just a variety show disguised as a drama, so I suggest you check out the rest of the episodes. :)
I have read the webtoon and they have been true to it so far but at the rate it’s going I wouldn’t be surprised if there are major changes eventually. I just hope they don’t change the SML’s storyline. I’m satisfied with how it was dealt with in the webtoon. Although Dam spent a considerable amount of time with him, she never for a second gave him any chance. Dam is a straight shooter.
