Some predictions for the SML: - I believe the SML might turn into a better person because of Lee Dam. Theres a lot of hints that because of Lee Dams character, he is starting to fall for her even more, which basically means that unlike other women, he will genuinely care for Lee Dam. - So i believe in the end, he will let her go because he would want her to be happy, instead of only thinking of himself. - However, the SML doesn't deserve her, just pointing out how he could be changing into a better person because of Lee Dam.
I mean they made him SML for a reason lol, he has important character and ofc it will affect the FML a lot
I dont get this trope though, an sml could be so much more and actually have a mature trope instead of acting like some dog drooling over the Female lead. Why Kdramas love to milk SMLs will never make sense.
i don't know how people have second lead syndrome, the SML is a jerk who treat every women like puppets that he can love and leave whenever he pleases. These type of guys are not heartthrobs, they are narcissists!!!
I think the only problems i have with this show is that the SML guy needs to stop being so annoying and sticking his ass wherever Lee Dam goes. Its so annoying, leave her alone, no one gives a fuck about you.
Also, i hope they don't make the ML too possessive over Dam. I don't like the typical cliches where the lead male restricts the girl out of jealousy or fear of trust.

I feel like we have different rating ideas lol. I think a lighthearted rom com can be rated 9 or 10 just like a deep plot, not in how thrilling or smart the plot is, but if the plot tried to deliver what it intended.
at least nine tailed had a lot of new elements in it and the conflicts in it had real stakes and had much more…
Thats the point of this drama, its not supposed to be deep, its just a heartwarming rom com where u dont have to use a lot of brain power. You are expecting deeper story and plot and this drama was not formed to make a thrilling plot.
I hope this love triangle does not drag! Hyeri and Ki Yong are best for one another and its completely unnecessary for another male to be hurt in the end because of his unrequited love... its not worth it, i just hope it does not go to that length.

i get that but i think stories should be rated on how well they can deliver their own genre. for this show, its obvious to not expect a thrilling or melodramatic feel because its not the intention of the show.
I have seen this "trend" in MDL for the longest time. Dramas that require no heavy brain power get rated lower. I feel like a lot of people get into certain shows without realizing the genre+intended audience of it.
So far, this is not a drama that should be taken seriously, its a plot designed to warm your heart after a long day of work + cute comedic reliefs!...thats all. If you're looking for a show with a heavy backstory and complex characters, this is not for you!
I have no issue with people watching whatever and trying out different stories but i think when it comes to rating a drama, you have to be aware of the intended direction the story wants to take so be more wise with your criticisms+ratings :)
Anyways, so far, i like it! Its cute and brings a smile on my face.
